    We used to live there (the threshold to Hell as we call it). McCain hasn't done anything proactive for AZ in who knows how long. The state is the bottom for practically everything - health care, education, living wages, etc. All the the things that matter to everyone, especially non-retirees. Also, in Tucson where I lived the snowbird effect has decreased more and more over the years.

    But--Obama is leading in NC 54-45...credit early voting, as well as in FL.

    He just might take both. Keep your fingers crossed.

    Michigan is scaring the crap out of me. All the majors are declaring it for Obama, but the reported results continue to be significantly in McCain's favor. With 17 electoral votes, that's one we can't be wrong on . . .

    Ohio and Florida are looking good, though - so is NC
