More about the Yule Goat
VOTE EARLY!!!!!!
Stupid fascists can't keep their arguments straight.
First he was an elitist, then a "guy off the streets".
They just pile every cuss-word on, even contradictory ones.
I blame the McCain campaign for stirring up all the hate and viciousness of the extremists.

I think that's called the Wiggum Doctrine.
More hate and more violence, more division and more anger - is that the change you want to see in the world?
The racists candidates.
Hanging someone in effigy is really kind of a warning sign, no matter who it is.
Part of this racism is also that the media tries to downplay threats against Obama as they did in Denver, making out those rednecks as nothing more than mischievieous hooligans and no real danger. They had guns and explosives. If they had not been arrested, these idiots would probably have actually carried out their plot. Essentially, the attitude is that if they don't succeed in assassinating Obama then there is no harm done. But try threatening, just talking about assassinating Bush/Cheney or McCain/Palin. Such threats will be treated very seriously. My guess is that even Quayle still gets some protection and that if you made a threat against him, you would be prosecuted.
Yes, I am concerned about how the Denver incident was handled, but I don't put that down to his personal Secret Service detail, and that was not their responsibility. Obama has assured that he is well-protected, and I think we need to put some faith in his judgment on this issue.
As citizens, we must be sure to advise the appropriate agencies about any threats which we hear or see. But given the way that Obama and his campaign staff have run the campaign (brilliantly, proficiently, effectively, etc.) I think that we can trust that they are being vigilant about his personal protection. I'm not being naive here; I'm just trusting the judgment and the comments made by the man I am working hard to see will be the next president of the United States.
People in Southwestern OH are pretty scary conservative - else how could they elect John Boehner to represent them? It speaks to the fact that there are people who need an authoritative leader; they don't know how to, or want to, make their own decisions. Ir's either hardwired or ingrained as a result of generations of brainwashing.
i escaped to the West Coast where I belong. I'm accustomed to making my own decisions and can't imagine living anywhere else. It's why I'm working as hard as I can to get Barack Obama elected. I hope all of you will too.
I think things like this are really going to hurt McCain. He's got to say something. I do think there is a lot of racism in the U.S., but few of those people want to be tarred with the same brush as the KKK, or morons like this. But the moron element is emboldened, adn the press, which has been so throughly demonized by the GOP, is going to keep pointing that out. I don't think the media are as angry as they are frightened by Palin mobs. It's unprecedented in my life time.
It's also going to make it more difficult to execute McCain's subtlety racist alarmism. If he continues to go too far, a lot of Republicans will probably not vote.

I guess I am not the first person to call? But, the lady that answered acted as if this was the first call about it. Another call would not hurt! This really disturbs me!
Also, (about 20 min later?) called the Secret Service in Cinn at 513-684-3585. Got recording, but did what it said (hit Zero?) and got connected to Chicago SS, who said they would have someone from Cinn call me back).
(Is this one of those things, like the Palin rape kit issue, that is discussed here but silent elsewhere (until it catches on) and when will this catch on?

This is the one state office that will take care of this. IF YOU SEE WRONGFUL ACTS YOU MUST DOCUMENT THE EVENT. PLEASE KEEP YOUR CAMERAS CLOSE TO YOU AND A NOTEBOOK TO WRITE DOWN THE NAMES OF EYE WITNESSES TO TURN INTO THE OHIO AG OFFICE. THE RHETORIC WILL BECOME MORE IMFLAMMATORY AND ILLEGAL. WE NEED TO KEEP OUR WITS ABOUT THIS, KEEP YOUR FAMILIES SAFE, BE AWARE WHO IS AROUND YOU.
THE REPUBLICAN SUPPORTERS ARE LOSING IT (THEIR MINDS AND THE ELECTION) COLIN POWELL HAS ENDORSED THE BEST CANDIDATE AND THOSE WHO SUPPORT MC/PALIN ARE OUT OF THIER MINDS WITH MISERY.
