AMERICAblog: Obama's passion

If Obama picks Biden, McCain's going to be receiving a lot of kidney punches.

Keep fighting. Never given in to the donut and coffee fetching traditional media. We can't let this turn into the Parsleyites wet dream of a coathanger America

Jeez, has the media no other tin drum to relentlessly beat other than the many variants and iterations of the "Obama's lacking [fill in the blank]" arc by the same tired cast of crypto-racist characters or their less talented children???
What other proof that the campaign, the punditorial thumb-sucking and navel-staring has gone on much too, too long?

After experiencing Bush and then looking at McCain, they have to have a lot of gaul to talk about Obama's shortcomings. Lack of experience? After 8 years, I don't think Bush has learned a thing. And McCain's experience counts for nothing if his judgment is so bad that he is incapable of comprehending what he has experienced ... never mentioning that he doesn't seem to remember much other than 5 1/2 years as a POW of the Viet Cong gooks.

    Lack of character? Oh please!

Obama is a Muslim? They should be deeply ashamed of themselves for that disgraceful blatant racism.

Elite? Good God! Hypocrisy to bury the Andes, the Alps, Rocky Mountains ... all simultaneously.

Not to mention also cheating, lying, murdering, thieving, corrupt, embezzling, war criminal, torture, sexual improprieties, etc. Republicans pretend they are the party of morality, character, integrity, honor, purity, Godliness. Who are they kidding? They have to be very careful or they might die laughing at the recitation of so-called Republican virtues.

McCain insinuates that Rezko demonstrates how corrupt Obama is. Okay! What about Abrimoff, Ralph Reed, the keating Five, etc.

Oh yeah! Must not forget compassionate conservativism! And another of his qualifications that I won't bother to respond to is McCain's mysogyny.

But, but, but McCain was a Prisoner of War tortured by the Viet Cong for 5 1/2 years. Let's admit it. This is his one and only qualification for the office. And, he does have a trophy wife.

"Real passion" is MSM code for 'talking before thinking'; reactionary, and not based on known facts. See Bush, McCain, etc.

An intelligent President would overwhelm Joe Klein for many years to come. And he hate dat.

PS--Congrats to Team Obama...the cable media have been literally peeing their designer pants all day with veepish curosity...They will melt like horny housewives for Kennedy with a Camelotian transition and honeymoon.

Just watched Larry King (senile closet right-winger) interview the Gov's from Louisiana and New Mexico. The rethug got the first talk and then had the last (3rd) talk. So much for "liberal media."

Obama peaked about 6 weeks ago. He has time to make a 2nd peak before the election. McCain is just the river Obama is swimming in.......
  • donotmakemecomedownthere · 1 year ago
FYI, black people don't swim. We run.

The only "river" mentioned in the campaign has been McCain and the Colorado. I think the evil environment is infringing on one of his backyard bbq pits.

Six weeks ago? Check the electoral map, loser.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
What link do you use for the electoral map? I was referring to the likely voter polls where he was up by 14 on some and is nowdown by 5 on some. That's a huge 19 point swing.

This reminds me of "Braveheart", when Wallace lays the trap......
    "hold....hold.......hold.....NOW!"

Well, maybe not passion really. Toughness? Not-taking-any-crap-ness? He's got the stuff to cooly, calmly and rationally, nail that decrepit old pseudo-patriot to the wall.

Passion is good, though. Don't forget Truman at the 1948 convention-- "Mr Barkley and I are going to win this election, and make the Republicans like it!"
