AMERICAblog: Oh please

    Bullshit!

What about the reports that Ivins met with Atta and a high level Iraqui officials in Prague in 2001?
  • tbhull · 1 year ago
    Iraqi.
  • John Aravosis · 1 year ago
Yeah and have you noticed how you never see Hitler and Ivins photographed together? Just sayin...

The Ivans family will collect big time when they sue the FBI bozos.

Nothing to see here, let's move along. This is one more thing that needs to have an independent investigation after the shrub is out of office.

Whoever is planning these public relations-coverups for The White House is doing a horrible job.
  • angryspittle · 1 year ago
I don't believe one fucking word that these assholes spewed today.

I wouldn't trust these bastards as far as I could throw a Buick.

They are all liars. We'll never know the truth.
  • martha · 1 year ago
    - that is why I am so discouraged. I don't believe ANYTHING the government tells me. I used to really believe in my country - now I am so ashamed.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
I have YET to hear any reporter or newcast mention that the only 2 people on the HILL were the 2 Democrats who could sway the Partioti Act Vote.

How come they are mentioning the sorority and all the the other stuff....but NOTHING about the 2 Democratic men.

WHAT was Ivan's reasoning to target those 2 men? NO One has mentioned that

He was fooled/coerced/bribed/pushed into at least being a part of of this "agenda". Then when things got ugly and he was no longer useful, he was :suicided." All to convenient.

It's the oldest play in the book of a fascist/oligarchical agenda.

WE NO LONGER LIVE IN A DEMOCRACY!!

Our nation died in 1913, when the federal reserve was created. We are now witnessing the residual effects.

At one point I held a very high security clearance and from my experiences what is most unusual about this story is that Ivins never had his clearance pulled or at least barred from his place of work at Fort Detrick. If only half of the alleged statements by and about him are true he would have (at least when I served) been escorted out of Fort Detrick and his clearance pulled until he was "cleared" by a government medical authority. You just don't keep your clearance under those circumstances.
    Very strange, indeed.
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
Thank you for clearing this up...I watched that press conference with the FBI today and I kept hearing about this timeline and how in 2003 and 2004 they suspected this and that but I kept sitting there thinking "how could they possibly have let him keep working in the lab for the last 4 or 5 years? God forbid he really WAS a psycho, letting him have continued access to potential bio weapons was the dumbest thing they could have done. Just makes it sound all the more suspicious to me...
  • sukabi1 · 1 year ago
So how many sneak & peaks does it take to drive an already unstable man to the pits of paranoia and suicide?

I bet that little detail won't be released either. Very convenient this whole "wrap up". And very full of bullshit.
  • bumpkis · 1 year ago
Anyone following this story from the beginning knew this was going to happen...this one stinketh really bad.....they picked the weakest individual and harrassed him to death....and used some basket case therapist to provide "facts"...therapist has quite a rap sheet herself...and is NOT really a therapist....Bradblog, Glenn Greenwald, Alisa at Rawstory....those people have been ignored....fricken MSM.....PRAVDA would be proud.

The Soviets were punks. Nobody does propaganda and agitprop like Disney/GE/Rupert Murdoch and the Free Markit.
  • donotmakemecomedownthere · 1 year ago
How many more "mysterious suicides" will there be between now and November? The Regime is erasing peoples' memories the old-fashioned way, one pawn at a time. I hope Ivans' "suicide" will be the first domino to tip over.
  • sukabi1 · 1 year ago
There have been a couple of "sudden deaths" and brain tumors as well... all folks who were about to be compelled to talk about the Plame leak...
  • sukabi1 · 1 year ago
And not to mention if he was under investigation by the FBI and the pentagon his clearance would have been pulled long ago, and even if it wasn't pulled he would have been suspended and his access to bio agents eliminated until he was either cleared or charged....

They've apparently got the same bunch of retarded boobs doing the coverup for this as they used for the Lynch and Tillman stories....
  • Indigo · 1 year ago
The entire episode gives a new level of grotesque meaning to the expression "character assasination." The guy is dead. The FBI is iinvesting huge amounts of time and effort in vilifying his character. The conspiracy theory suggestion is that he was murdered. And now he's supposed to have been drooling over some Barbie at a sorority house? Oh, yeah. That's what happened. Uh-huh, I believe we are being entertained by the X-Files crowd.

And they are going to get away with it. And there is nothing anyone will or can do about it.

We can only hope they will leave in January.

I just got off the phone with Oliver Stone and he, too, found it all very strange.

Bu$hCo, or Bu$hCo operatives have obviously murdered many people while achieving their ends. Ivins got blamed so the REAL MURDERERS can go free.

Does America really even get it?

Rightwing/GOP/Bush-supporting operatives have been KILLING PEOPLE (as in K-I-L-L-I-N-G) over the last 7 years to get their vile changes through.

Who can't say they have been effective?

I mean, NO LAWS are EVER enforced against Bu$hCo.

Yup--Bu$hCo has changed America alright, and
    THEIR METHODS ARE TREASONOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • cambridgemac · 1 year ago
The FBI wants to close down the investigation because Ivins is dead. Yeah, right. Imagine them closing down the Kennedy Assassination inquiry because Oswald was dead.

"Move along, suckers. Nothing to see here."
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Sad, pitiful vagaries..."what we believe to be the evidence...", "in the window of opportunity..." accompanied by a wardrobe of affirming, however meaningless, hand gestures and the unbroached topic of death by Tylenol3...
Along with the quickie resolution of the Heath Ledger investigation, this seems the season for rushed, ass-covering judgements...

what was this man's motive? why did he send the material to the enemies of the white house, days before the vote on the unPATRIOTic act? why was a supposedly crazy man allowed to work on germ warfare for years? Why did this all happen days after Hatfill won his millions?

Doesn't add up, but the media will report what the government tells them, ask no questions, and it will go into the "case (not) closed" file, and join the countless others.
  • alfannaan · 1 year ago
hmmmmm...let's see now...who would have wanted to scare the life outta of the dems and the media just then? I don't suppose some control-freak maniac like cheney-the-undead could have found some inside jobber nutcase scientist like ivins to do him a favor. but somebody else has got to be involved here......
  • moreleesafer · 1 year ago
    "Well, isn't that convenient?"

Say it like the Church Lady from the old Saturday Night Live skit.

Suicide is seldom the result of a simple, singular trigger.

Unless your name is McCain. or Bush.
  • blksista · 1 year ago
Saw Keith Olbermann last night, where Gerald "Case Closed" Posner flatly denounced the rush to judgment that Dr. Ivins was the sole lone nut perp.

He had to have had help...
