And if we don't show our gratitude for $4.00 a gallon for gas, they'll re-think their generosity.

Great news! I could tell it today when it cost me only $64.53 to fill up my 7-year old Hyundai! Gee, where can I go to spend all my savings?!

I read a news blurb on cnn.com today that one of the oil tycoon billionaires (pickens, I think his name is) is throwing his $ and clout into wind power now. Good on him! The rest of the oil barons and the big 3 auto companies should follow his lead and get on the alternative energy bandwagon asap.

A bank/brokerage firm like Goldman Sachs ( Paulsons former employer ) doesn't come out with a prediction of $200 oil by the end of the year for no reason at all along with a little inside information. This drop won't last long and the last place you will see a reduction in price is at the pump. That you can take to the bank.

Just because you're there. I sensed you.

Oil ALWAYS drops in price when the public is agitated enough to force their so-called representatives to take some action. Prices begin to inch back down. Just enough to allow the public furor to die down and let their hired lackeys in congress to once again turn a blind eye, never to pre-increase levels. Then the process begins all over again.

I MIGHT begin to believe it when I am paying LESS to put gas in my car.
I seriously question whether the greedy war-profiteers of Oil/gas companies
will allow this to happen. Maybe I'll be wrong and I'll admit if I am, but I doubt it.
