actually Joe, you have half the story.. if you read down the comments Keith reveals that Milbank is going to CNN.
And good for Olbermann.. he told Milbank "hey, you cant be on my show if you are gonna pull this crap" so Milbank took his ball and went home. Good riddance.

I can't do anything until he has time. So I will give more time. Another week. Hate to [sound] like Conyers like that but that's how my religion works. Conyers knows about voodou, too.
A follow up on my immanent death. I didn't say anything about it because not to invoke it. I get signs from nature and I received three powerful ones that I would be alright before the August 1 Eclipse. So I wasn't able to do anything else for a couple of weeks while this passed but I will look at this now.

I know it's funny as hell but there's alot of voodou going on with dubya. Look at him since Kartina and New Orleans. But none of them, even the most knowledgeable, will put a death curse on him but eventually. That's all. Just letting him dangle. Just having fun looking at him with his feet pointed backwards...

It's sad because I actually liked Dana. I would imagine he knew he was going to CNN and I guess he wanted to be viewed as some type of moderate or something. Oh well, good luck liar, I mean Dana.

Don't know if Milbank was all about playing "fair" by trying to level the successful Obama week and the disastrous McCain week by injecting a false quote that helped derail Obama's message for a news cycle or two or if he's just "turned" and he showed it by employing a typical Republican trick of using part of a quote and completely reversing it's meaning.
I really don't care actually. The mere fact that he tried this crap and succeeded quite admirably in giving the GOP a false line of attack they could quote from is enough for me to applaud his parting ways with the only network I give some benefit of the doubt to.
Goodbye Dana, don't forget to let "Morning Joe" and Tucker high five you on the way out.

The media hopes it can lie to the American people for all eternity without any consequences. Milbank has become a symbol of eternal hopes and dreams. Too bad these dreams are a nightmare for anyone who believes in honesty and integrity.

Here is another, ignore the facts link lies and pointing out McCain's record as both being dirty politics.
I saw several things in his time as being on Keith's show. Interestingly enough, each time, Keith didn't have him on for a while. Then he returned. But now? I am so glad Keith did what he did. This joker thinks CNN is an up-and-coming network? hahahaha What is he? 15? I am so old, I remember when CNN used to be a fair and reliable network.
To be catty, I have always wondered this -- I hope someone will answer. I know Joe and John, living in DC, know the answer. HOW TALL IS MILBANK? Just seeing him seated is enough to see he is really short. 5"1"?

Interesting article on HuffPost from a WashTimes reporter.
keith posted a diary at kos indicating that dana had already accepted a gig elsewhere.

Milbank was disappointing. To omit part of a statement, as a journalist, is awful, especially, when what you have printed causes trouble. It is downright unprofessional. Perhaps Milbank is hoping for a job offer from Faux News?

GOP voter registration drops in some states.
So finally, people are beginning to see that light!
Milbank always was a Bush lover (Skull and Bones always stick together), in the final analysis, despite occasional snark against him.

Good for Keith. As often as Milbank has been on "Countdown," I couldn't believe such a close colleague of Keith's could shaft Obama the way he did. I won't miss ol' Dana.

Can Dana take Andrea Mitchell with him? I had to listen to that McCain isn't responsible for his words or campaign defense and now my ears are bleeding.
Perhaps he could also take Morning Joe (and Mika yes) as well as racist ole prune-faced Pat Buchanan (aka The Chopper), Chris Matthews, the Shouter, and the pitiful Dan Abrams. That might allow MSNBC/NBC the chance to get in a few more people closer to the quality of Olbermann.
