I'm a federal employee. My health insurance covers birth control, no questions asked. However, my co-worker, who survived prostate cancer, can't get viagra or cialis covered, which is actually a medical necessity in his case. (lack of blood flow to the organ can cause problems, I guess)

That's two topics that McCain has declared off limits. He said that he doesn't want to talk about military issues as pertains to veterans (I suppose he was limiting it to veterans) and now he doesn't want to talk about birth control. How many issues will Mr. Straight Talk declare off limits?

What is it going to take for Americans, especially American women, to see that McCain=Bush will continue the fight against Roe v Wade and uphold the Global Gag Rule? How can we get them out of office? I didn't believe GW could win in '00, was dumbfounded that he won again in '04, and am worried that nothing will change in '08. I'm worried.

May I suggest to schoolnurse that Bush di NOT win the two elections but was given the elections by the supremes and the Ohio Atty. General's machinations in key districts. There is an explanation of these outcomes and these seem to be correct. Obama's campaign must flood the precincts with poll watchers to insure that the thefts do not reoccur.

Which is why we cannot elect a 72 year old president. Not only is this guy out of touch with the issues of today (the same man who does not even know if condoms prevent HIV transmission), but he doesn't even remember how he voted on stuff.

It's nice to know that when it comes to the issues that affect the American people that he can't remember his votes or where he stands. I mean, how can you not say where you stand on an issue even if you don't remember your vote? You would think that however you feel would match your vote, no?

This sure ain't the first time he had to check where he voted on something before he spoke about it. Just a hunch, but I bet McCain loses his car keys a lot too.

McCain is simply suffering from an acute attack of P.M.A. (politically motivated amnesia)
It doesn't help that he is 72; and has to mentally juggle "republican talking points", "political spin" and "focus group responses". A good liar needs a good memory and needs to be able to deflect the question or feign ignorance.

Insane McBush3 is running for POTUS. As much as his "military experience" does not, I repeat DOES NOT, endow him with any special qualifications for that office, he needs to learn and understand that there are NO questions he can dismiss by simply saying he doesn't want to discuss it. The fact is his incredible shrinking brain can only keep a finite number of facts at any time; and its not enough to enable him to keep all his positions on every issue both clear and in his head. Hence the ongoing corrections of sorrogates, the lying in the recitations of his own stories and the inability to remember his own votes on issues he wants people to think him keen on. The more we see of him the more McCain unfiltered is pitiful; an angry little old man, kind of a less sympathic version of Regis Philbin.
Note to the MSM still clamoring to ride the Double-Talk Express: Come on guys and girls start telling the real truth about McBush3 and his increasingly seedy and crooked supporters. Start pulling off the stinking bandages and show the public the rotting and putrid flesh beneath---the real John McCain.

I don't get it. What was so difficult about the question? He actually looks uncomfortable. This is the same guy who cheated on his wife and partied for years before he met his current wife? Yet he can't answer a question about the disparity between insurance covering Viagra and not birth control? I really don't get it.
