Well, that 700 billion bails out Paulson's friends and colleagues at the highest levels (most of the little people will still lose their jobs). It preserves the world that Paulson worked in all his life. It means that Wall Street and the Banking industry doesn't have to change how they do business. The people in charge of it will stay in charge and they will stay rich.
Now you went and did it. My eyes all welled up, a boulder in my throat, and I'm not even gay.

An Amazing piece of art. The cast members are too much alike in stature, age and stereotypical behavior. Not a good start. With the country much more diverse, how does the voter, sensing how different they are from them feel kinship? This desperate country will not be rebuilt only by a narrow group of the population, or allow to be lead by 'a children's crusade'. That is Obama's weakness. That could mark his defeat. There are more citizens with reasons to distrust him than to get behind and support his leadership. This is so like his campaign; more like product placement targeted to a part of the market. He is not convincing a down trodden population that more of the same is not better than turning things over to strangers who don't have their feet on the ground?
