I've always been curious about something regarding Carrie Fisher's performance in Star Wars. Who's idea was it to have her speak in a British accent at the beginning of the film and then drop the accent later in the film?

The comments have been wacked all day, they were upgrading something, and I think they only just came back. Anywho... it's a goofy video, and she was actually being much more serious this time, since we were rolling - I think she may have thought we wanted a serious political interview :-) Anyway, I like her, real pistol.

How time flies. It doesn't seem like 60+ years ago when I looked forward to the appearances of her dad, Eddie Fisher, on WFIL (Philadelphia, Pa) radio's Magic Lady program at 6:15 each Mon-Fri evening. He was still a teen-ager in high school, a couple of years older than me, and would take the street car from South Philly to the down-town studio in the Lit Brothers Department store. His pay? The cost of his trolley ride round trip, $0.15 per day he appeared. Daughter Carrie seems to be the same kind of dedicated performer.

Close up, bad lighting, and only half her make-up - check out the photo with me and Joe, you can tell she has base on, and a bit more, but that's it. No one looks good from two feet away under those conditions. And you know, I don't think she cares. And that's kind of cool.

Meghan McCain hangs with Heidi Montag (not that she's a celeb for any good reason, but she's one, anyway). Sarah Palin has a stylist now, according to HuffPo. And you and Joe are hanging with Leia.

If you get your own Bravo reality show, I better get a screener before it airs.
