And she fired the police chief for purely political reasons.

Like any of this shit means a fucking thing to the average voter? She praises Jeezuz and that's all you need to know. That was her sole qualification for being picked Veep. Even if she is a serial killer, as long as she found Jeezuz her savior all is well. The Neanderthals will pull the Sarah lever in the voting booth because she loves da baby Jeezuz.

You really have to click over to HuffPo this morning and see the pictures of Missy Hockey Mommy's daughter's boyfriend, Levi Johnston. Real cute. Real young, dumb, fulla cum. The GOP elite must be pissing themselves at this point. Nixon's Southern Strategy really has given them some juicy white trash!
This soap opera is getting better every day!

Obama made an interesting point about executive experience on CNN last night. Palin oversaw a $12 million/yr budget for a 50 person staff as Mayor and Obama manages 3 times the amount per month for a staff of 2,500. Somewhere in there is a story about what kind of government we can expect continued government waste via privatization or lean efficienct government.

what's funny is the general overlooking of Palin being against the "abuse of wasteful spending" -- emphasis on 'abuse'. i hardly think these projects are abusing such funds.
Palin securing $27mil that went to efficient projects is belittled by Obama's $740mil in earmark requests -- http://obama.senate.gov/press/070621-obama_anno... ultimately, Obama received nearly 10 times as much as Palin.
now, i already hear the rebuttals, saying Illinois is clearly larger than Wasilla, AK, thus Obama receiving more funds is appropriate. and i agree -- wholeheartedly. but the attacks on Palin are based on her being "hypocritical" in being, in theory, against wasteful spending.
however, if these funds were, in fact, "abusing" federal money, let's consider where Palin's funds went, and compare them to Obama's own requests:
Palin -- $500,000 for a youth center Obama -- $600,000 to give neighborhood youth free trips the aquarium
Palin -- $1.9 million for a transportation hub Obama -- $10,000,000 for the construction of a multimodal transportation center (Normal, IL)
Palin -- $900,000 for sewer repairs Obama -- $2,000,000 to support construction of additional sewer lines (Johnsburg, IL) ...and $500,000 for sanitary and storm sewer system upgrades (Northeastern Illinois Sewer Consortium) ...and $500,000 to support its construction of its combined sewer overflow replacement (Peoria, IL)
Palin -- $15 million for a rail project Obama -- $3,812,000 for construction of a railroad overpass (Morrison, IL)
to the credit of each candidate, these requests were made to improve and develop these towns and cities.
but that brings about the underlying point -- to criticize Palin for "wasteful spending" is to accuse Obama of the same.
the problem that promotes the divide in the view of American politics is that the majority (or, the louder minority) of public supporters for their respective parties jump on the latest bit of news that seems to advance their candidate's position without seeking further information. furthermore, the cynicism that resides in the bitter minds of detractors simply fuels the vast partisanship that has come to exist in this country. if you truly want to bring about change, think for yourself and subdue the mocking remarks that contribute nothing to advance the thoughts of others.
