More about the Yule Goat
She tries to sound smart, but she just can't quite pull it off.
exam cram isn't perfect, and she got her answers crossed.
So, do they want to drill because they have the answer to America's energy problems, or because they're greedy in Alaska? And every penny of those taxes is paid by oil consumers in the lower 48.
For all intents and purposes, the Alaska Permanent Fund is a scheme to BRIBE Alaskans into voting against the environment and for more big oil projects. Is there any wonder Palin and many Alaskans want more drilling? It fattens their wallet, even though it damages their environment and contributes to Global Warming.
Palin dismissed Global Warming issue in a simplistic manner.
All night it felt as if Palin had diarrhea of the mouth. She couldn't stop spewing her talking points and pointed jabs. Gwen Ifill tried to stop the flow with a question now and then but it was of no use. Sarah was going to say every last thing they taught her at least once if not ad nauseam. You bet cha! She even got in her shout out to 3rd graders!
Wow.
My favorite part was her announcement of a VP power grab if elected. She'd blow right by Cheney. Maybe she thinks VP stands for Virtual President --with dictatorial powers of course.
Can't do it.
Plus her voice is hard on the ears.
The more I see her, the more I hear her, the less I like her.
You're the first to mention it.

"We have John McCain to thank for bringing in a bi-partisan effort, people to the table, so that we can put politics aside."
I don't know what it is about it, but, people to the table, I find it really funny.
She didn't understand the question. She took the topic as being something BAD that McCain did, that's viewed negatively. And she - somewhat embarassed - begrudgingly acknowledged she agreed with what he did (even though she thought it was a bad thing). Then, she proceeded to try to explain how things would be better, yada, yada, yada, to get off of the topic that she STILL thought was a critique of McCain. Then she descended into madness and starting babbling.

There's just something very pathetic about a 72-year-old man being called a "Maverick." Shouldn't someone of that age be considered a "sage" or a "shaman" or something that indicates they've grown into someone who became "wise?"
