More about the Yule Goat

McCain's chief of staff is gay. He has been with the same man for years. I wonder how that will sit with the homophobic Palin and her bible beating constituants. HYPOCRITES.

Looks like a whip saw between the weakness in the dollar brought about by the bailout and soaring, I really mean soaring, fuel costs.

The pinchy pinchy resulting from this Catch 22 is quite painful.
Where's Eleanor Smeal?
What women in there right minds are going to vote for this neo-con/christian fascist who does in her own child!
One thing for sure the kid's breeder isn't going to hang around much longer then Nov 3 and when it confirmed that she and the old man are looses... he's out of there!

* Thomas Paine said that: "befief in a cruel God makes for a cruel man." I was raised in the Pentacostalist Church of the Nazarene, and attended until I was about 16 years old, which accounts for flashbacks to a mindset that is not very enlightened or civilized. Couple this with my long study of history, and my darker moments can be very gothic..
Anti-Gay McCain's Chief of Staff Outed as Gay
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/9/22/144220/...
"LAST month, the Bush administration launched the latest salvo in its eight-year campaign to undermine women’s rights and women’s health by placing ideology ahead of science: a proposed rule from the Department of Health and Human Services that would govern family planning. It would require that any health care entity that receives federal financing — whether it’s a physician in private practice, a hospital or a state government — certify in writing that none of its employees are required to assist in any way with medical services they find objectionable.
Laws that have been on the books for some 30 years already allow doctors to refuse to perform abortions. The new rule would go further, ensuring that all employees and volunteers for health care entities can refuse to aid in providing any treatment they object to, which could include not only abortion and sterilization but also contraception."
Sorry for such a lengthy comment, but this is the issue all the womens groups I know are concentrating on right now, since time is of the essence. Planned Parenthood has a link to the public comment mechanism. PLEASE do it.

And John is right! This issue should be exploitied for ALL IT IS WORTH by every women's group. Especially since polls are showing Palin has peeled away some support from older women. I'm sure some of those women have not heard this issue and it would change some of their minds.
Did people see the Vanity Fair timeline on Palin's faux pregnancy?

It shuts the defenders up, makes them cower and generates no response from these pit bulls other than feeble and unsubstantiated denials that she lmew about it at the time. I've metioned it repeated, often in lengthy postings on the web-based comments section of my local paper's opinion pages. I have posted news about the rape kit scandal in the Daily Bulletin, based out of Ontraio, CA, and yet no one, not one single loudmouthed wingnut, has dared to respond, to even say a peep.
About two weeks ago, I sent a formal letter to the editor, to the aforementioned Daily Bulletin, on the subject, and it has not been published. I doubt it will ever be published. Even after the AP verified the stroy. I think it will only grow legs locally or nationally if a YouTube of Sarah Palin is found that has her give orders to cut the funding. As if that ever will be found! No amount of less direct evidence, even as overwhelming as what we already have, willl cause squimish editors to "grow a pair."
I hope the shot of Yellin flipping thru the newspaper was just for show. Laura McGann of the Washington Independent went to City Hall and got years worth of city council minutes on CD.
I guess maybe the women's groups feel they will grudgingly vote for Obama in silence?
