as nixon once prophetically observed (20 years before watergate), the coverup is worse than the crime. but we shouldn't reproach palin for wanting to postpone her impeachment until after she loses in november.

Well put CNJ - that is, of course, if the people of Alaska have any dignity. What a sham to have such a corrupt Gov. If she is impeached after the election - then I will once again regain my respect for the people of Alaska (I am still reeling from MA's Gov Mitt Romney and CT sending Lieberman back to the Senate).

Whatever happened to posting everything on the Internet? I thought she believed in fully open government. She's more than sleazy. She's beginning to seem like a pathological liar. The Repubs have proved to us just how ineffective our judicial process is. Just ignore the law and it may go away.

One of our Alaska State Senators was on our local progressive radio station today to let us know the McCain Campaign has a hotshot lawyer "assisting" our AG office. We are looking for a way to stop them for meddling in official State business. It's time to take a stand.
If Palin will not Answer to the citizens of Alaska as Governor, she has absolutely no business as VP of the USA.
Keep an eye on this one. Alaskans can be an independent lot. There will be more information tomorrow I'm sure. You can stream KUDO radio between 3pm and 6pm Alaska time. It's called Cutting Edge with CC, and she's on fire.

NEWTON, N.J. - A misprint in a telephone book has led to some callers dialing a phone sex service while trying to reach a New Jersey political organization.
A listing for the Sussex County Democratic Committee in Embarq's white pages sent people to a sultry female voice inviting them to pay for sex chat.
Yeah, right! I suppose it would be too obvious if every Democratic Committee office across the nation experienced this “mistake.” Another Republican reversal of the truth since we know the Republican headquarters are whore houses as well as headquarters of the Republican party.

I can't help but picture Alaska on Nov 5th, with McCain/Palin defeated, the carpetbagging Republigoon lawyers returning to DC. Sarah will finally have the perfect chance to see whether she can build a bridge -- to her fellow Alaskans and her party -- in the midst of subpoenas, obstruction of justice charges, maybe a recall.

When Bush-Cheney-Ashcroft-Gonzales wanted authority to read our mail, search our library and bank records, and tap our phone calls, they and their cheerleaders said that law-abiding people would have nothing to fear. So if you didn't want the government snooping into your business, it must mean that you have something to hide.

Kudos to NBC nightly news for FINALLY GROWNIG SOME BALLS. They exposed every lie, small and large from this hack. It was a great peice.

Actually, it will overlooked by the press and the American people. She knows that refusing subpoenas will get no attention--just like Bush, Cheney, and Rove. It will go unnoticed and once in office it will dissappear officially.
