Since we all realize that McSame is making a big fuss so he can dodge the debate....could the real reason for all the fuss be his health and mental state? The photo of his sagging eye, face sag...be more indicative of small strokes? I cared for my step-father's elderly mom who had these little strokes and her face did similar things. The more mini-strokes she had, the more senile she became....... McSame is acting more and more confused of late...... Just speculation of course.... Hartman talked about the eye/face of McSame on NovaM.

The media should be asking the campaign what "suspending" means. The ad buys are still up. The VP candidate is keeping her schedule - is she part of his campaign or not? Why are all the surrogates on TV if they have suspended the campaign? Other than McCain changing his schedule - which Barack is doing to go to DC as well - what has he done? Nothing. MSNBC reported he is working in his office not going to meeting or negotiating with anyone.
Just because McCain says something does not make it true - another example is the campaign suspension crap. Lies about suspending on top of everything else - but they did control the news cycle.

Just heard on the Hartman show that there is a web site - canivote.org - where you can check if you're registered to vote. You just put your name, jurisdiction and street address in and it tells you. Everyone should check to make sure they haven't be "innocently" dropped.

Good ad... and I think the straight forward, "talk to the people" approach will reach/move more people than the quickie "sound bite" attack ads that are so prevalent...

At least they aren't pressing the flesh on an actual gravesite where Steve Schmidt texts talking points while sitting on a headstone. We should commend them for their tremendous restraint.
I'd say it takes real chutzpah, but when you see our next post, you won't want to be using any Yiddish to describe Sarah Palin ever again.

there is one person / group that has had plenty of media attention in the last couple of years, they hold the same "beliefs" as Ms. Palin and have been "vetted" by the media more thoroughly than Ms. Palin has been... slap some lipstick and a dress on the swine and he would make as good a running mate for McCain as Ms. Palin..., that person is Fred Phelps from Westburo Baptist Church...

It is amazing, they say one thing, and do another.
They are desperately getting photo ops for their empty suit, VP candidate. She cannot talk in depth or substance, hence the only thing available, photo ops and dishonest, campaign tactics. The Republican way.

As someone who lost family and numerous neighbours on 9/11 my outraged reaction is HOW DARE SHE?? But of course she does - all her party has capitalised on this story, has gained from the blood and grief and bewilderment of those who died and their families/friends/etc. And so many of us know that our grief and bewilderment has been magnified a thousand -fold in Iraq and Afghanistan in families that haven't the attention of the media. Palin and her party are iniquitous, preying upon people's fears and doing absolutely NOTHING to actually engage with the problem.
