AMERICAblog: Palin personal shopper = McCain robocaller = Sen. Norm Coleman's very generous landlord

WTF? Did this guy PERSONALLY shop for her clothes (I'm sorry, but that would be real creepy)? Or did someone in his office do it and they billed it through his company? Very very weird. It appears that Jeff Larson is the go-to guy for all kinds of personal Republican favors. I wonder how TODD feels about Jeff shopping for his wife's clothing. Good grief, I can't get over how odd this is. Rich Lowry must be bumming that he missed his chance to outfit the starbursts. Also.

Nothing creepy about it.
He didn't shop for her actual clothes.
Just her underwear.

The FLS Connect website has copies of letters sent to HuffPo and NYT claiming that they were not responsible for robo-calls that targeted Sen. McCain's family:
"The calls in 2000 placed by FLS Connect's predecessor company concerned relevant campaign issues and Senator McCain’s policy positions."
Of course, the letter does not specify what those "relevant campaign issues" were, so I remain skeptical.
WASHINGTON – The presidential race tightened after the final debate, with John McCain gaining among whites and people earning less than $50,000, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll that shows McCain and Barack Obama essentially running even among likely voters in the election homestretch.

I disagree. Palin's outfits are more expensive and tacky than elegant and with a good fashion eye. Cindy McCain dresses really well, and has a great sense of color. Palin is just wearing very expensive designer label clothing with no sense of how it blends with her skin and hair.
Throwing a huge amount of money at fashion isn't always the answer. It is better to pay a fashion consultant, and get fewer outfits.

Are you serious okojo? Cindy McCain is NOT a fashion plate. Good Grief. She is one of the worst dressed women out there.
You are joking aren't you okojo?
She dresses like a dowdy frump from the early 1990's.
scottinsf

My opinion is that Cindy is trying to dress like Sarah because that's what she thinks John wants and Sarah is trying to dress like Cindy because that's what she thinks John wants and the whole mess is now a fashion disaster....but that's just my guess.

Look, I think Cindy McCain is a hypocritical blowhard. Who has as much compassion as the Bud Lite she makes money off of...
However, she has picked out some good colors for her dress suits, even though they don't go that all that well with her complexion and features, she should wear more black and darker tones..
What she does to her botox addicted facial features and hair is a different matter.
She doesn't dress like a dowdy frump, she has worn some great shades. She knows her color.
sukabi1
you know what, you should pick colors for your clothes that compliment your skin tone and hair color and outfits that work with your body type... otherwise, no matter how much money you spend on designer duds your outfit and you are going to look like crap... as Cindy does most of the time...
just because a color is "fashionable" DOESN'T mean everyone can pull off wearing it....

I agree - but I think the GOP guys get off on the whole red leather jacket, knee high boots SS uniform thang. (See Condi)
Now, nuthin' wrong with a bit o' the ol' kink, don't get me wrong, but maybe we should be looking for their posts on the Christian Nymphos blog...
Cindy??? I haven't noticed her outfits much but Palin's neither color coordinated nor chosen with care. Her hair is neither professional nor glamorous. Cindy McCain has no style. Enough Said

question: why is the media giving mccain a free pass on his gaffes lately, first there was "my fellow prisoners", and now we have him unable "to agree more", and more "c*nt-gate". If this was obama making these strange errors fox and friends would be beating the drums and pumping those clips every hour. And while this kind of thing is trivial, if more people saw mccain saying these things he'd be totally finished.

Another McCain Robocall: Hi, this is Rudy Giuliani and I'm calling for John McCain and the Republican National Committee, because you need to know that Barack Obama opposes mandatory prison sentences for sex offenders, drug dealers, and murderers. It's true, I read Obama's words myself. And recently, Congressional liberals introduced a bill to eliminate mandatory prison sentences for violent criminals -- trying to give liberal judges the power to decide whether criminals are sent to jail or set free. With priorities like these, we just can't trust the inexperience and judgment of Barack Obama and his liberal allies. This call was paid for by the Republican National Committee and McCain-Palin 2008

"Even hateful liberals would have to admit that Palin dresses awfully nicely." I'm a "hateful liberal" and I don't think Palin dresses at all well. What solipsistic narcissisitic self-absorbed mean-spiriited neo-fascist trailer park fashion plate socially conservative Republican fanatic wrote that drivel?

A comment from Ellen on Sarah Palin: I don't know if you saw this, but Vice Presidential Candidate, Governor Sarah Palin says she's that in favor of a federal ban on gay marriage. Basically she wants to change the constitution.
So if you're wondering, I'm sure you are, how I feel about this...I don't like it, I don't like it. I don't agree. Maybe it's because I'm gay that I think we should all be equal. But I feel that we're all equal.
I don't know what people are scared of. Maybe they think that their children will be influenced. And I gotta say I was raised by two heterosexuals. I was surrounded by heterosexuals just everywhere I looked heterosexuals. And they did not influence.... I mean I dabbled in high school, who didn't? Everyone dabbled, ya know?
People are gonna be who they're gonna be. And we need to learn to love them for who they are and let them love who they want to love.

See the link for the latest in Palin fashion today: http://blog.newsweek.com/blogs/stumper/archive/... A scarf that says "vote" and is festooned with DONKEYS! Apparently, she not only is clueless about the VP's duties, but doesn't know her own party's mascot.
