I think McCain is so weak right now if elected McCain would only become a puppet president manipulated by all sorts of underlings. This is a good example; Palin is just proving my point right here.
  • luvboxer · 1 year ago
SOMEONE SHOULD BE ALL OVER THIS. THIS IS SO WRONG...MY GOD WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE...
  • scottinsf · 1 year ago
The Biden/Obama campaign shouldn't say anything about this gaffe and just let it slide.
  • jimfromthefoothills · 1 year ago
    let nothing slide.

    stand on their throats.

People came to see Palin because she's just a flash in the pan.

quite frankly, i'd rather see mccain speaking -- at least he's entertainment, i got the worst kind of language in my head for that hag....
  • devlzadvocate · 1 year ago
her voice . . . to me like nails across a chalk board.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
Yes.....her voice is insufferable. She does give a voice to the ignorant.
  • no · 1 year ago
and tina fey's impression of her was so dead-on...i involuntarily shuddered just as much when i heard fey's voice as i do when i hear 'say-rah's

    *shudder*

A telling gaffe on her part but she can credibly claim ignorance.
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
But isn't she readeen from a Teleprompter, ya know, those machines that break all the time, which requires you to wing it and look into the faces of the Ohio people and know how big your heart is for them?
  • Milli · 1 year ago
Wow. Well, we had a Cheney/Bush administration so why not?
  • devlzadvocate · 1 year ago
"I want the top of the ticket" -- So much for ridding Washington of greed! It just gets funnier, and sadder, every day.
  • NinaKatarina · 1 year ago
Palin and McCain scans exactly the same as Pinky and The Brain.

"What are we going to do tomorrow, boss?"

"Same thing we do every day, Sarah. TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD?"

"Sarah, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"

"I think so, John, but where will we find three albino yaks at this time of night?"
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
    LOL...so true.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
I feel an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical coming on:

"it won't be easy, you'll think it's strange. When I try to explain how I feel. That I still need your love after all that I've done. You won't believe me, all you will see is a hockey mom you once knew, although she's dresssed up to the nines.....I'm still just a crack whore, like you........"

Don't cry for me Noth America....the truth is"...............Oh what am I talking about, I never tell the truth!!! ;-)

Isn't she being a bit presumptuous?

Doesn't the split in the Republican Party scare voters? Shouldn't cable news be asking the question 24/7? Are the Republicans offering two presidents? or two vice-presidents? or what? Who would be in charge in an emergency?

it is a bad and scary cartoon ... she is a real end-timer, as well as a psychopathic liar, apparently.

    On a lighter note:

Her friends say she is ambitious and this could be a slip that gives some insight into "Troupergate" - I'll just push that guy aside and do things my way" She could be calling repub operatives during McCain afternoon naps to stage a coup. We may wake up to find a Palin/Romney ticket.

All the media attention is having an effect......on her. Too big for her mukluks?
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
she's not in the cold North anymore... condi introduced her to Jimmy Choos.
  • eliot99 · 1 year ago
You're right. I forgot. But, I heard she didn't like them. They were too hard to get on and off over her ankle holster.
  • devlzadvocate · 1 year ago
OT, but I see GWB poked his head out to see what was happening in the shit storm and ran right back in again. What I heard was "Look, I fucked this up and now I don't know what to do, so I'm hiding out here till January. See McCain".
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
Not true! I heard Dubya was still offering to have a beer with anyone who voted for him twice! That is doing something, right? I mean, he simply ran on having a beer with the voters. Its not like he said he was going to run our country properly or anything...

Altheimers - Palin = MORE OF THE MCSAME!

  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
    okay... I get it now...

it isn't that people are enamored with palin, or interested in what she has to say.

its morbid fascination... like looking at a car crash as you drive by.
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
Why would the Talibangelicals stay to see Mr. McGoo anyway? They are just waiting for him to kick the bucket one way or another to get him out of the way so they can institute Talibangelical Levitical Laws on America. Speaking of getting McCain out of the way, don't think for one second some of those Talibangelicals won't be getting "messages from their God" that he wants them to do something to McCain so their Sarah can take over! The Talibangelicals are a scary bunch, and by God the ends always justifies the means with them.

The sitcom just got renamed. It's now "The MILF 'n the Maverick."
  • wrh1972 · 1 year ago
Actually Biden has done something similar:

Mr. Biden recognizes that his tongue sometimes ventures far ahead of his brain and often catches himself with a smile.

In Fort Myers, Fla., last week, he referred to the “Biden administration,” before quickly correcting himself to say the “Obama-Biden administration.”

    NYT - 11 Sept 2008

this makes rush limpballs very happy...he comes right out and says that Palin is all they've got and he's just hoping they don't let McCain rub off on her too much.

they have bet the pot on her...they're all in. god i hope they're wrong.
  • CitizenTwenty · 1 year ago
Can you imagine how badly, what she let slip out, raised McCain's Viagra enhanced male ego hackles?
I think Cindy junior just really pissed Daddy off.
  • Catsandbeer.com · 1 year ago
this must grate on McCain like few things can - can't wait for some of that world famous anger to seep out - his controllers must be working overtime to keep him from catching on
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
they better up his meds and turn down the hearing aid.
  • 8nando · 1 year ago
No, no, no, no! Can you imagine what would happen then, if he doesn't know where Spain is, at the moment?

I wonder if Sarah Palin's voice is getting to the rest of you, as much as she's getting on my last nerve. I can't stand the sound of her.

One other observation! If elected, will Sarah drag Todd and a few of the kids to work with her everyday? I have to think McCain regrets this really dumb move!
  • MrBlifil · 1 year ago
    Oh no she di-in't!

Carly Fiorina come back. All is forgiven.
  • nsr · 1 year ago
So when I first posted, it said "Discus...this isn't supposed to happen." Well, yeah.
Obviously a slip. She knows McCain will be out of the picture soon enough.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
maybe she'll start interrupting him and grabbing the mic out of his hand when he's trying to speechify...that'll keep the crowd in their seats!

you know, in his head, he's already calling her a trollopy c*nt...

I had a feeling she was a top. I am pretty good at sniffing them out.

First of all it has to be said- what is with the Katherine Harris make-up? I didn't realize beauty queens put their make-up on with puddy knives anymore. Between her overdrawn cheek bones and that voice, she is more like a bad cartoon character everyday.

Second, as much as I dispise McCain, my gosh, I feel sorry for the old goat. His entire life his identity has been tied to someone stronger, richer with more influence. First his Dad and Grandfather, then Cindy's Dad and even worse, Cindy. Now he has to take a back seat to some moronic moose eating Christian whack job he was forced to put on his ticket and now he has to stand there cheering her on from the cheap seats looking more like a bumbling boob every day. Poor McCain- he's the Rodney Dangerfield of politics. LOL
  • woodroad34 · 1 year ago
You're absomoosely right, errr correct. Everything with the GOP is topsy-turvy, masquerading as "maverick". "Maverick" has to have some logic to it, and the only logic I see is a selfish-prom queen (Beauty? Eye of the Beholder), who's realized she's a 'Supah Star' (arms shooting to the stars, legs in a lunge) and is pushing the old goat aside. She's in it for herself, doesn't need support, thinks she's God's gift -- to what, I have no idea; certainly not true Americans.
  • unpoetaloco · 1 year ago
I just asked a friend of mine if he had heard that Palin referred to a McCain-Palin administration as a Palin-McCain administration, and he replied, "Rogue moose on the loose." LOL

    I think we need a t-shirt.
  • whomod · 1 year ago
Wait! I've already seen this movie. It was called "All about Eve".
  • devlzadvocate · 1 year ago
me too! "Have you ever looked into the heart of an artichoke?"
  • DougStamate · 1 year ago
The GOP advisors wanted to stir up the base and Gov. Palin certainly seems to be doing that. The "Palin and McCain Administration" (sic) will go over great with them. But the GOP can't win with just the base and the more that phrase gets aired, the more "independent" votes McCain/Palin lose.
    I like that.
  • Rufus · 1 year ago
In the military it's like the Executive Officer upstaging the Commanding Officer. With his Navy background, you can bet your buttocks that McCain noticed and is totally pissed off. But, hey, what can he say to her? Any admonition from him would be sexist. He has created a Frankenstein. When he is sworn in, she will probably elbow him away and take the oath herself as the first female President of these United States of America. Note to McCain: throw her under the bus and choose the guy you really wanted for VP.
  • jaxander · 1 year ago
Sounds like a ticket I'd vote for. I've already got the bumper sticker...
