42 things you don't know about Sarah Palin.

    Some teasers:

Sarah Palin has an Abramoff problem - a Pro-Palin illegal mailer was sent during her gubernatorial campaign on behalf of Palin by the RGA, the DC group that got money from Abramoff, Reed, etc.

She's deeply connected to the Bridge to Nowhere.

She stated that she would force her own daughter to have a rapist's child.

    She has 3 houses

She's linked to the Dominionist movement and Joel's Army.

She was a bad mayor who left her town's economy in tatters.

She favors censoring library books (Alert your local librarian!)

Sen. Ted Stevens and Rep. Don Young (both under investigation) campaigned for her in 2006.

She DIDN'T SUPPORT MCCAIN in the primaries.

The top 2 ALASKAN newspapers question her fitness for the job.

Buchanan could be right. Looks like Germany is getting ready to go down the drain economically...
  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
The Euro is a lot stronger than the dollar, Busboy. I just got back from Germany and the economy seemed fine to me.
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
don't argue with busboy... he's a financial wizard you know.

    God bless 'Murica!

Yeah, we saw this. Lets hope the story grows some legs in the MSM.
  • Indigo · 1 year ago
It's a sad story made sadder by her grandson's Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. That's not Downs Syndrome although it mimics it. How long will it take for her to come clean about this? Or is she a psychopathic liar and doesn't know that she's lying?

    Good choice, Mr. POW. Not!
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
How do you know its FAS?
  • hardeknox · 1 year ago
Look at the pictures. This is not a Down face. Momma was probably out drinking with hubs' Eskimo family. Alcoholism and bootlegging a huge problem in AK, especially among the natives.
  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
Someone needs to send all this information to MSNBC. It's the only news corp. brave enough to question Palin's lies.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
I would love for this story to be true, for only one reason, it shows the nature and integrity of PalinHOWEVER, while it adds up there is NO hard evidence.

There has to be a birth certificate somewhere. I seriously doubt a doctor would jeopardize their medical license by providing false information. There has to be medical records for treating her daughter Bristol for mono. None of this has been provided and whatever information that was available has been scrubbed off the internet.

I think something is rotten but without hard evidence it still qualifies as rumor.
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
Well supposedly Palin is big on "abstinence only" education. That would be a big blow to those ignorant evangelicals.
  • MommaKat · 1 year ago
I wish I could agree with you aquarius, but after working in the medical field I hedge my bets that a doctor most definitely WOULD provied false info and not fear loss of his or her license. Y'all can go ahead and add nurses and nurse practitioners to that as well. That said, I think it becomes a moot point b/c I doubt proof positive will be found one way or the other, and it would be typical Rove to wish we'd all follow this dangling carrot. So, totally agree with you - no hard evidence.

I almost wish there was, because in all honesty I could stomach the idea of her raising her daughters child better than I can stomach the idea of a mom risking all she risked if she truly waited to fly home and seek medical care for over 12 hours after her water broke. That kind of judgement and self serving behavior goes beyond frightening.

Thanks for posting this. I read all of it and while it isn't absolute proof that the baby isn't Palin's, it certainly casts serious doubt on Palin's stories about her pregnancy.
  • Mikki --SE Pennsylvania · 1 year ago
Thank you thank you! for this excellent link. It all worked for me although very slow. As far as I could tell all the pics came through and I think it must have gained about 100 some comments just while I was waiting for it to load and reading it. Oddly enough some of the DKos people had started fighting amongt themselves as to whether or not it should be recommended or not.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Sarah Palin was not pregnant with child.

    Her sixteen year-old daughter was.

Checking with the Anchorage High School that Bristol Palin attended, reporters were given word that her family had taken Bristol out of school due to contracting infectious mononucleosis. The amount of time Bristol was absent shifts from five to eight months.

Mono can last anywhere from two weeks to three months, but an eight month infection is a freak oddity. Yet it remains a common excuse given by girls in private & Catholic schools around the nation when pregnancy comes into play. Not the first time, not the last time.

    hmm... slightly OT.

interesting that in Faux News last poll (7/23-28)... Obama leads mcsame 40 to 30%, with 17% undecided.

    just interesting.
  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
Hi, Jeff. I have been suspicious for some time about the polls showing McCain catching up with Obama.
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
I often wonder as well...after watching that amazing final night in Denver, and seeing the mega huge ratings on tv, not to mention all the Obama signs in my neighborhood in Houston, TX, I just can't imagine it's really THAT close. I'm 43 years old and I've never ever been called for a polling question, nor has anyone I know. I believe it's much wider than polls currently show...
  • hardeknox · 1 year ago
If you subtract the 12 point white bigot McCrap vote, the difference is almost impossible to comprehend.
  • mf_roe · 1 year ago
Pat is MSNBC's official court jester similar to Combs (sp) on FOX. A jester must mix just enough truth in his ravings to make them seem plausible. In truth if a woman is elected because of her plumbing instead of her abilities it does raise questions about the future of the country. Voting for Obama because it would be cool to have a black president is wrong, voting for him because he speaks to your sense of what is right and what is needed is correct, and would be correct if he were orange. IMO Palin is a great pick for McShame, she represents everything McTraitor stands for.
  • mf_roe · 1 year ago
On the matter of polls, I still remember how close the Reagan Carter race was supposed to be. The polls serve to entice political junkies to watch the talking heads on the TV and listen to the hot air blowing out of the radio and last but not least insure that people GIVE, GIVE, and GIVE some more to the cause. What do you think the INTERNAL - not for public release - polls are saying?

two words to pat. Rachel. Maddow.

Buchanan and his sister are both extreme nut cases, unfortunately, this is the GOP party, today.

    GOP first, Country last.
  • bumpkis · 1 year ago
There is a great pic of Palin floating around the web with a leather mini skirt, deep plunge blouse and shoes fit for pole dancing. Unfortunately, there is not a URL link to it so I can't post it here...John??

  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
I would really like to know when that picture was taken
  • dad · 1 year ago
i'm pretty sure it was before mccain picked her
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
    while she was "pregnant"?
  • chowderSF · 1 year ago
    hilarious......
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
Is that picture real??? Before I start sending it around the web, I want to make sure it's not some photoshopped thing...If they can post pics of Obama when he was wearing the traditional clothing in Africa, this is fair game too...

Our senile President and our slutty VP...how impressive that would be to the rest of the world.

    Obama/Biden08

    McCain/WTF08
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Just had dinner with my cousins. The male said he was damn proud of McCain for choosing Palin, after all she stood up to big oil executives and has been governor. I said she has no experience and he exploded with "she has a hell of a lot more experience than Obama". The female said " it was a pick to get women to vote for McCain. How stupid does he think we are".

So there you have it. Two females against Palin and one male for Palin.

The Dems better quash this notion that being a US Senator and a State Senator is minor compared to a mayor of a small village and governor for 20 months.
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
    Amen aquarius2, amen...
  • hawkseye · 1 year ago
I think it's better to speak of KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING of national and international affairs than of experience. Palin doesn't have any of either.
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
Some humor from Bill Maher on John McCain's pick:

"I think this is pertinent because McCain has been running this campaign based on 'we're at war, it's a dangerous world out there. The democrats don't get that. I John McCain am the only one standing between the blood-thirsty Al Qaedas and you. But if I die, this stewardess can handle it.'" –Bill Maher
  • cyninbend · 1 year ago
I was just in a chat where not one person defended democrats or the truth or Obama from right wing craziness: the most serious problem facing us is illegal immigration; or the most serious problem is women having babies to increase their welfare checks....
  • cyninbend · 1 year ago
And my favorite, she has carefully reviewed the platforms of each candidate and is afraid Obama's election and tax increases will cause her to lose her house! She works at Best Buys btw... I asked her if she were really that rich...families earning over $250K....no response but there never is when they drop their lie bombs.... What got me was the other 30 people who seemed to accept the repug lies...and yes, the crap about Palin taking on the oil companies was included...... I am afraid that the voting public is permanently brain dead.
  • Mikki --SE Pennsylvania · 1 year ago
Certainly the republicon zombies who will pull the lever for McShame.
