AMERICAblog: Palin's church shuts down part of Web site containing sermons

  • paul94611 · 1 year ago
Of course, given the republican way of looking at things one could ask why would they close down their site if they had nothing to hide?
Besides, there is always one person that will sell a copy of a particularly volatile sermon to the media at some future date which will only increase its value.

Since we're all Palin, all the time this isn't off topic...

Frank Luntz held a focus group on McCain picking Sarah Palin at the RNC the other day... it's pretty interesting... it's the second clip.

I was in a focus group run by that same guy in San Francisco. he did not like me, particularly when I said that "illegal immigration," which was the topic of the focus group, was not the problem, but rather a symptom of the real problem. And he stopped and said, "Well, what IS the problem, Knox?" And I said,"That the looting class has taken over the Western Hemisphere?" And everybody in the room laughed.
I didn't like him, either, truth be told.

No understanding of how the tubes of the internets work: this shut down operation is closing the barn door after the horse has escaped.

I was just thinking this same thought Karen....this is all moot and stupid shit. The blogger kids, who've turned out in droves for Obama, will make this a landslide. The tubes and internets and googles are being ignored by MSM talking heads. Someone said 300 electoral votes the other day.

Why are they comparing Palin to Obama and not to Biden?. To me what they are saying is a white woman with limited experience and under investigation is better than a black man that is a well educated state senator and United States Senator.
The GOP thinks that Obama and Palin cross each other out, so McCain is really running against Biden
  • sukabi1 · 1 year ago
They're using the same level of "thinking skills" that folks on another blog were using when asking (very nastily) who you'd rather vote for Sarah Palin or Michelle Obama....

They are working to "energize" the racist vote... it's a dog whistle to them... your choice is a "Pretty, white woman" or an "uppity black man"
  • moreleesafer · 1 year ago
exactly what I have been saying since Friday. They are telling voters:

"who would you rather vote for the woman from the PTA or the colored guy, huh"

They cannot compare her to Biden because they have no advantage there. He has foreign policy experience and been a senator for what 30 years?

I hope someone saved copies of all.

You can bet a legion of Obama staffers doing oppo research did.

Just where is ABC News' Brian Ross on this one? He was so determined to bring forth the sermons of Barack Obama's former pastor Jeremiah Wright. These sermons appear to be much more profound than those of Rev. Wright!

Don't they understand about archive.org, or the wayback machine, as some call it?

These people just don't get it.
  • whomod · 1 year ago
I saw an evangelical minister on MSNBC about an hour or two ago vilify Obama for the Rev. Wright for his sermons even as he in the same breath vilified "the left" for looking into the sermons of Palin's minister. Talk about hypocrisy of the highest order!

These f**kers are only too happy to vilify someone on account of their pastors words but hey, do that to them and it's below the belt and uncalled for!! They wrote the rules, time to take what you dish out.

They're not proud of what they stand for? Any church that is afraid of the public hearing what's going on inside starts sounding more like a cult than a church. I'm guessing they're way too late anyway.

Palin's pastor told that church that anyone who criticises Bush will burn in Hell. No shit. He said that. She has gone to this church for 25 years.

Her church also sends gay kids off to "de-homosexualization camp".... something which the AMA and APA assure us will not work. No one in history has ever changed sexual orientations.
