AMERICAblog: Palin's great idea: Claim Bristol's baby as her own

  • Biggus Diggus · 5 months ago
This kid better check the brakes on his snowmobile and maybe even have someone start the snowmobile for him. He's making enemies.
  • Scott · 5 months ago
Good suggestion! If I were Levi, I'd just move to another state. Sarah Palin is crazy enough to have him assassinated. And if she won't, one of her nutball fanatics WILL.
  • Rufus · 5 months ago
She might shoot him from a helicopter.
  • Steve_in_CNJ · 5 months ago
this was the "joke" during the campaign:
so, have you heard sarah's going back on the pill? she doesn't want any more grandchildren.

    change that to:
so, have you heard they're putting bristol in a convent? sarah doesn't want any more children.

DNA tests all around! There are too many questions not to just do it.

Makes me wonder anew where she got that other baby it seems dubious she actually had...

    Desperate Housewives?
  • hrh · 5 months ago
She saw that Bree did it, then decided to go for it, too.

Bree now has her own website: www.breepalin.blogspot.com

Shocked that anyone would believe our next President of the United States could conspire in such a manner. OK, you betcha, I'm kidding.
  • RevDrBillyBob · 5 months ago
Not much parenting going on in the Palin house ? Yikes, I guess not, since ... Ol' Levi was able to start his own "Alaska Drilling Program" (re: Bristol) while Stoopid Sarah was still living there.
  • rayso · 5 months ago
You'd think they live in a trailer, or a hood or something like that.
  • Indigo · 5 months ago
Levi's obviously the smart one in that crowd. ☺
  • AdmNaismith · 5 months ago
    Well, THAT'S scary...
  • rayso · 5 months ago
No this is politics. Comforting I think.

Intriguingly, LJ doesn't say WHICH pregnancy SP wanted to fake. Probably wants to keep everyone on tenterhooks. Or is he after $$$$$$$ from SP not to further expound on that delicate incident?

For us tin foil hat-wearing conspiracists, this seems to be the smoking gun that Trig is not SP's child, but Bristol's. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, just who is Trig's biological father? Not necessarily LJ. They were "dating" only a very short time before we think she got pregnant (not the several years the family contends), and she was involved with Johnnie Chandler immediately before that. Considering the wild partying and drugging she and her friends were doing, wouldn't surprise us none if it's someone else entirely.

DUCK, everyone, the meconium is about to hit the fan!
  • JohnInTexas · 5 months ago
I agree. And isn't Bristol's middle name Trolip....errr or was it Strumpet...Trampolina? Little Trog has a tough life a head of him with that family.

It's rare that Down Syndrome IS the silver lining in a person's life, but here...

Poor little guy, if it wasn't for bad luck, he wouldn't have no luck at all.

Katherine Harris, Michelle Bachman, and Sarah Palin - what carnival sideshow does the GOP have waiting for 2010?
  • okojo · 5 months ago
Two of the three you named are out of politics, and the third is seriously on the peripheral. As much as Sarah Palin will make silly statements like "Death Panels" to gain attention, she is going to have as much power as circus sideshow exhibit.
  • rayso · 5 months ago
I don't think she'll have much power if we ignore her.
  • KSUwildcat · 5 months ago
Don't forget "great white hope" Lynn Jenkins from Kansas

Why do you think Levi Johnston is telling the truth?
  • okojo · 5 months ago
Pretty much he is telling the truth, he is just painting the same picture of Sarah Palin as a not very bright, very ambitious and constantly scheming ego monster. There are many people who paint the same picture of Sarah Palin who tends to wrap pretty ribbons on steer manure, with some of her career moves, like resigning from the Oil and Gas Commission as a protest of corruption rather it was too tough, resigning as governor to make a "difference" rather than she wanted to cash in on her fame (or infamy)

Sarah Palin is disingenuous or just believes in her own PR, when she tries to spin that her motives are pure, when they turn out to be pure as driven snow.
  • rayso · 5 months ago
" wrap pretty ribbons on steer manure..." and don't forget the lipstick on a pig line. Laugh every time I hear it!
  • TrappedinaRedState · 5 months ago
Why would you expect that Sarah Palin is?
  • rayso · 5 months ago
Read this blog. who do you think we are anyway? Idiots???
  • okojo · 5 months ago
Um, doesn't this article kind of re-affirm that any VP pick should be seriously vetted? Why did McCain pick this monster again as his VP?
  • Zorba · 5 months ago
LOL! I think he seriously thought that, because she was a woman, he could pull some Hillary voters away from the Dems because they were pissed at Obama. Plus, she was young, and relatively cute. I guess, to an old white male Republican, as long as we have a vagina, we're interchangeable.

I saw Kathy Griffin's show shortly after her appearance at the Teen Choice Awards and on Larry King Live with Levi Johnston. During her monologue she told us that Levi was going to tell all sorts of stuff on Palin in the Vanity Fair piece. Guess she was right! I gotta stop and pick this rag up on the way home tonight... it promises to be VERY interesting reading!

  • HereinDC · 5 months ago
And did you hear that that group that hired her for the Hong Kong Conference next month...It's like a joke to have her speak.
It's sort of a joke to have her as a keynote speaker.
It's a way of getting their jollies.
  • rayso · 5 months ago
That was a post in this blog a few days ago.
  • Rufus · 5 months ago
Pay me enough and I'll give a sixty minute speech and you can laugh at me the entire time.
  • PeteWa · 5 months ago
  • rayso · 5 months ago
Just proves how stupid Palin is to think she could get away with this scheme.
  • JohnNation · 5 months ago
Let's see what the birther's have to say, lol.
I understand they're experts on this sort of thing.
  • Fisk202 · 5 months ago
Ugghh.... can we all stop prolonging her 15 minutes?
  • bharper · 5 months ago
    To TrappedinaRedState-
It seems Levi Johnston has little going for him except his good looks and the fact that he impregnated Bristol Palin. As himself,he's a nobody. As a source of gossip about Sarah Palin,he's worth quite a bit. It doesn't seem impossible, that in order to prolong his 15 minutes of fame and the money it brings him,he might lie about the Palins. I have nothing against him,but I don't believe half of what he says.

Sarah Palin is a politician, and as such,is a liar. I don't believe half of what she says either.

Yeah, it was a chick flick called "Susan Slade," circa 1962 or 1963, starring Connie Stevens and Troy Donahue.
  • RainbowPhoenix · 5 months ago
This kind of thing is actually pretty common, so as much as I dislike Palin, I can't fault her just for suggesting it. Her repeated insistances for the sake of her political career on the other hand...
  • cowboyneok · 5 months ago
Yes, I remember a lot of people on the left being poo-poohed by the media elites when we suggested Sarah Palin was probably trying to do this. Seems the LEFT is RIGHT about a lot of things the media and cool kids in Washington think we are just idiots about until we are proven RIGHT over and over and over again, huh? Its funny how that works...

The right wing is wrong about MOST everything these days, and its a shame we get laughed at and made fun of for pointing out the obvious, like a bunch of sad Casandra's, only to have our points proven time and time again.
