AMERICAblog: Pelosi to attend, do unscripted Q&A, at Netroots Nation conference

  • gwpriester · 1 year ago
Maybe you can ask her exactly what it would take to get Impeachment off the table?
  • Rheinhard · 1 year ago
I'll be there! I have wanted to attend the last few times, but when I saw it would be in Austin (where I attended grad school at UT) I knew I'd be there! Having lived there for several years I have a pretty good idea of the better barbeque and Mexican places (not to mention some of the best Dim Sum I've had outside the Bay Area), and plan to try to get some groups together for dinner!
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
    Well, hot damn. YEE HAH!!
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
I have no intention of being there. She should be impeaching instead.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    Good for her.

Wish it was in a more convenient location, though I hear Austin is very cool.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Guess some are trying to keep it that way.

As long as I'm bitching: I wish they'd have a one-day registration, versus attending the whole thing or nothing.

I wouldn't mind flying in in the morning and out at night, but staying for the duration is a bit hard to fit into work and personal schedules.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
I put a pall on it...

Boy oh boy, I would love to be there and pound her with some questions. Her traitorous ass needs to be shown the door and a possible indictment for war crimes. Will Cindy Shehan be there?? I hope so!!!!

I hope you netroots attendees don't throw the normal softball questions.... that will just be another nail in the coffin of democracy. The financial system is dying a slow death. We are not being warned about it by the MSM. They are co-conspirators in this Oligarchy we call the United States.

I would ask her what is her relationship with George Soros? I'm quite sure that would make her squirm!

Pelosi is among the worst the Democratic party has to offer.
    Enabler.
    Derelict.
  • michaelt · 1 year ago
i expected bush to be bad so it wasn't a disappointment. pelosi, on the other hand.....

    HUGE disappointment.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
See, it wont accomplish anything to revive her reputation. She'll be reviled from now on, apparently. She must only concentrate on impeaching to restore balance. But hey, don't [listen] to me...
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
Has Obama ever done anything for us? He acts like he doesn't know us now.
  • OlderAndWiser · 1 year ago
You're kidding, right? I no longer even have enough money to leave the house when I want to.

Of course, if Nancy had left impeachment on the table...what a Vichy bitch.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
I don't want to leave the house. Like my stuff here surrounded by my artifacts collected my entire life. Making some soup right now and enjoying your and other's company.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
Would like some of those white perch that are biting now, though. Not many but they're really the big ones. Toledo Bend Lake.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
My dad surveyed that lake before they damed and flooded it. It's a man-made lake. He said it's full of old cars and houses underwater. This was back in the 40s or 50s.

My garden remains sick. It breaks my heart but there's nothing I can do about it. The basics are still there but eventually, that will begin to suffer...
  • Shannon · 1 year ago
What is wrong with your garden???

Regardless of the job that congress is doing, it's great that Pelosi continues to reach out and try to be as accessible as possible. I hope people don't beat on her too badly and try to impress on her the importance of not giving into Bush without being totally rude.
Maybe some kind of understanding can take place as why they are caving in on this issue. I have my hopes.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    Agree.

I hope they ask her tough questions, but there's no need to be rude to the woman.

She knows she's going to get hammered but she's going anyway.

That deserves some kind of respect, if not agreement.
  • FunMe · 1 year ago
That woman lost respect when she said "impeachment is off the table"
  • vkobaya · 1 year ago
Bull! Each time I've snail mailed her, she has returned my letter stamped with a picture of a finger, you know which finger.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    BTW:

They did have a pretty good Web cast of a lot of the events last year.

    Hope they do that again.
  • vkobaya · 1 year ago
Yeah! Right! She will be totally shocked and surprised by questions regarding impeachment and her complicity with the Bush gang of crooks, criminals, liars, thieves. mass and serial murderers, war criminals.. She will probably respond with bullshit about how Bush is the legitimate Usurper of the Oval Office and deserves our respect and cooperation, not unfair, malicious, partisan attacks, just to pull down his administration.
  • FunMe · 1 year ago
    Who's Nancy?

Oh yeah, I remember, she's the WORST Speaker of the House ever.

She is such an ENABLER and probly guilty of some crimes committed by the bush junta.

I doubt she'll have questions that are unscripted.

Can someone remind her that she is a political SKANK who will be remembered for her wimpy "leadership" or lack thereof.

SKANK ... yeah it's rude to call her that, but not as rude as what she has does to America and We The People.

    Impeach her too!
  • RevDrBillyBob · 1 year ago
How typical of your godless heathen libruls to "forget" that Nancy Pelosi is one of our dear president's strongest defenders. . . . You refer to her as "gutsy" ? YIKES ! Maybe we SHOULD make smokin' marijuana a durn FELONY.
  • Jane2 · 1 year ago
I'd love to be in Austin, but unfortunately am unable to. Like many others, I'm going to take advantage of Netroots Nation's Second Life presence.....streamed sessions, interactive events, SecondLife-only panels, and a big progressive community to share it all with! And best of all, it's FREE.

for further information, go to these links:

Or email jane2mcmahon at gmail dot com

I'm with Jane2. I can't make it to Austin either, and Second Life is absolutely the way to go!! We are going to have a great time at NNSL Great community, great people, and a lot more fun than watching alone.
  • Gen. JC Christian, patriot · 1 year ago
Netroots Nation is FREE in Second Life. Of course, being there in Austin would be best, but if you can't make it, join us in Second Life. We'll have streaming and interactive events. And I promise you'll also get to see John McCain's third nipple.

Time for Nancy to brush up on her tap dancing skills.................and get a double talk coach to practice with beforehand..............you couldn't get a straight answer out of her if her life depended on it.
