"She wants you to know she's no pansy."

She is no pansy! (which is a flower)
She IS a bitch (which is a female dog)
    :)

Gee whiz, I hear people say she eats babies and puppies too! Spits on the sidewalk , farts, burps and has a whole host of unreported habits we could make up stories about. Do you folks that write for Americablog ever get exhausted from all of the feigned outrage? When will Hillary learn and just start campaigning against herself and for Obama!
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
She eats puppies fireblazes, babies are raised for sweatshop labor. Sheesh!
  • Indigo · 1 year ago
I pumped gas today, 7 gallons of it, but instead of BP/Amoco paying me to do their work, they charged over $25.00 on my credit card. I'm not asking that poor Clinton woman to do anything much about it, I don't think she has the connections to make a favorable change on that, but I am asking her to pump her own gas. Just once. For the cameras.

Chinese children sold "like cabbages" into slavery

    http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Chinese_children_...

Probably my gal Hillary's fault too.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
Are you suggesting some connection between Hsu and slavery fireblazes?
That won't look good for hillary....
    ;)
  • EricAnthony · 1 year ago
I have noticed that this site is really hard on Clinton and soft on Obama. I am an Obama fan, but my main objective is to not have McCain in the White House come January 2009. I will vote for whoever is the democratic candidate. What are you going to do if Hillary is the nominee? Support McCain?
  • shell · 1 year ago
That is just what Camp Hillary wants to hear! "Makes no difference who the Democratic candidate is -- whoever it is is NOT a Republican! That's good enough!"

I say BS. This reminds me of 1992, or was it 1996? Or both? Hillary is the Ross Perot of 2008. She isn't exactly a GOPer, but she sure isn't a Democrat either.
  • shell · 1 year ago
Yes, Hillary's life really IS tough. The rest of our lives are tough, too. Just in different ways.

The tough parts of her life (like campaigning 15 hours every day for years, shaking strangers' hands, giving the same speech over and over, etc.) were things SHE CHOSE. I truly think that life WOULD be hell -- which is why I didn't CHOOSE IT. DUH. Stop whining -- you wanted it!

As for the rest of us, we did NOT want it. Many of us DID choose it, by getting (and keeping) Bush in office. The real victims are those of us who never supported these GOPigs.

    Apples and oranges.
  • Smarmy · 1 year ago
Hillary is the epitome of the 'limosine liberal'. Driven everywhere like baggage and given ample time to REHEARSE her script. This is nonsense.
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 1 year ago
Eric, that seems to be the mantra pushed here. It is like a bunch of kids threatening to hold their breath if they do not get their way. Netroots is destroying any chance of reconciliation from the newer people in the party to the rest of the party.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
New people to the party versus the rest of the party?
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 1 year ago
See,Luna I knew you could find a way to blame slavery in China on Hillary. How about global warming?
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
Global warming? Well she is a gasbag releasing a lot of hot air everytime she opens her mouth. Not sure it ALL should be on her though.

This is easy and fun fireblazes! :)
  • OlderAndWiser · 1 year ago
Compare the McCrazys and the Clintons--both got their money far more easily than most hardworking Americans.

But that doesn't matter to them--they're politicians and deserve to be treated like lords and ladies, you know.

We're all commoners who have to scratch out our daily bread and don't deserve anything better.
  • shell · 1 year ago
It is astonishing how the GOPigs have managed to convince so many Americans that OBAMA is the rich one! And Hillary and McvCain are the "average Joes".

My own mother fell for this garbage and it took me sending her many articles, telling of Obama's past, to convince her. She was sure that Obama's father was some uber-rich person. (And, truth be told, it was probably reading the true story in Time magazine that convinced her, not me.)
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 1 year ago
Luna, that would be republicans, independants, young people and rich elitists vs the rest of us.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
So you are calling the first four Obama supporters and the rest hillary supporters?

    (careful now)
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 1 year ago
OlderAndWiser, Obama got his millions working at Burger King. Come on the Clintons started in the middle class just like you and me. They were just a whole lot better at it and had the drive that you and I lacked.
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 1 year ago
No luna you have Hillary confused with the Hindenburg.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
Um, fireblazes? Considering that hillary was inevetible just 5 months ago, you might not want to be using her name and the Hindenberg in the same sentence. Just a helpful suggestion for you because that was a slow soft ball aimed right at the meat of my bat.
  • bumpkis · 1 year ago
Hillary's life is NOT going to get any tougher when she goes on the Factor with O'Lielly either on Wednesday. They will throw softballs at her to bash Obama with...

The GOP need Hillary as their opponent. All they can throw at Obama has been Rev Wright 24-7, and I suspect that just ended today too.
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 1 year ago
Yes, but only in the Americablog style of writing spirit.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
FYI, I am a lifelong Democratic voter. I'm 46, white, female and work like a gd dog for not nearly enough money. Oh, I'm an Obama supporter. Which of those four am I in?
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
"It's a Hard Knock Life" just may become a viral video...
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 1 year ago
The rev wright is speaking for himself and his beliefs. He truly believes that his church and basic beliefs were disparaged. That is the msm's and pundit's big error. What wright is saying now has nothing to do with Obama but everything to do with him getting a national pulpit and his own defense of people attacking his polity.
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 1 year ago
But Hillary really is the modern Hindenberg, fighting hard to stay aloft and going down in flames.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
I like the Hindenburg analogy better than the Titanic one.
    "Oh the humanity!"
  • SPatrick · 1 year ago
So I vote for Obama because he has gone to the grocery store? Other than yet another hysterical nonsensical attack on Hillary Clinton by Joe Sudbay, what is the point of this post?

You mix in items that could be factual and then go over the deep end into Rev. Wright land. If you had stopped at reality you may have remained credible. Maybe she hasn't gone grocery shopping or pumped gas. These are legitimate items. But you go overboard by creating a this false image of someone who never has a spontaneous moment. Someone who never waits for anything. You shoot yourself in the foot with these outlandish claims. If you kept it grounded your argument would hold a little more water. Instead, you are just a putting yourself in the Wright category. You might as well have claimed that she created AIDS to kill minorities.
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
Hillary created AIDS to kill minorities?!? OMG!
I better spread the word on that!
    ;)
  • donotmakemecomedownthere · 1 year ago
Poor woman becomes more delusional - and despicable - every day. And she's clearly surrounded by the WORST advisors in the world.

Hillary: You are very rich and very white, and the two may in some way be connected.

It's time for Obama to make his own "If you lived my life" speech, if only to clarify the misinformation campaign against him, but also to make Hillary crawl under her rock in shame.
  • OlderAndWiser · 1 year ago
Neither the Clintons nor the McCrazy's lives were anything like anyone I know personally. Hillary may have had a controlling Rethug daddy, but he paid her way through Wellesley, something no one I know could ever aspire to. She probably never had to worry about whether or not the rent was paid, where her shoes or underwear were coming from, whether she was having dinner that night, or working a part time job to help her family pay bills, like many of us had to.

Yeah, lots of people like me had plenty of opportunities to go to first class schools, get Rhodes scholarships, have admirals for our daddy, or crooked beer dealers for our parents. Although I admit, I also lacked the ability to bullshit like them, as well.
  • jr · 1 year ago
"I can't wait to introduce you at your at your inauguration"-hillary to McCombover
  • Rab · 1 year ago
If someone rises in the status of their economics, fine. Do they remember where they came from? Are they hypnotized by the money and power, or are they dedicated and want to really use that money and power for the common good? Obama talks to the power of the people just like John Edwards does, Hillary does not, the 3 of them are rich and powerful, the difference is two of them really give a shit about people.
  • Chris From Maine · 1 year ago
im sure living in a multimillion dollar mansion and never worrying about going bankrupt and getting kicked out of your house is really tough.
  • Rab · 1 year ago
Al Franken takes responsibility for his accountant screwing up his finances, wow, a guy running for office who takes responsibility and pays for it. Oh, and the 70,000 he pays compares to the systematic rape of the American people by bush, NO it does not. Busboy acting like a fraud.
  • OlderAndWiser · 1 year ago
Yes, as usual Busboy left out the best part of the Franken story:

Franken says he did this on the advice of his accountant, but that he takes responsibility. Franken says that after he pays off the back taxes, he plans to file for credit on taxes overpaid in the city and state where he lived when he filed.
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 1 year ago
Luna, that makes you a person. One that I happen to disagree with. My point is, no one likes to be generalized or to be shown as a cartoon of themselves. And that is what Netroots has become . A place of outlandish statements and manufactured outrage. A place where Hillary and her supporters have been deemed dirty and unclean. A place that is not taken serious anymore. A group that spent its credibility and political capital on backing one particular person. Almost to a myopic extreme. And when it was not OVER 2 months ago (liked they thought it would be)they decided to go all out. Alienating people like me that once were big supporters. Calling into question any sense of the possibility of fairplay in any future cause or election. Yes, it is their blogs, but the entire group has been tainted by the over-vigourous "reporting".
  • OlderAndWiser · 1 year ago
Rab, you said that very well. Thank you. Although in this day and age, the Obama's approximate $1.4 million in assets (including their house) is peanuts, comparatively. He and Michelle certainly haven't dedicated themselves to money, and if not for his books, they wouldn't even be "millionaires."
  • LunaStick · 1 year ago
fireblazes I hear you. I have become someone who has gone over the top on many occasions but I didn't start out that way. I got to this point because of how I percieve the way this election has become. I also percieve much of this as being started by the Clintons and thus have gone from not caring who the nominee is (but prefering either Edwards or Obama) to suddenly being in a place where I can not in good conscious support Hillary. I have come to see her and Bill in ways that I didn't before and it is uncomfortable to realise that someone I once supported is not who I believed them to be. Kinda like what Obama is going through today with Wright.
Yes it is ugly but do consider how it would be if we didn't have the tactics we see. We would have a vigorous debate on the issues....Okay maybe not but the blogoshpere wouldn't be so one sided as you say it is. Think about why so many in the LIBERAL blogospere is supporting Obama. That should tell you something though you might still disagree with it. It is still telling you that those in our party who are the most politically aware and follow politics most closely are going by a wide margin for Obama. Perhaps it is because they see more about what it really going on than the average person does.
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 1 year ago
Netroots is full of themselves, and has lost sight of the goal of kicking MCCain's waspy ass.
  • Fireblazes(CheetohsandCatfood) · 1 year ago
All they care about is destroying Hillary.
  • EricAnthony · 1 year ago
Fireblazes seems to know what he/she is talking about. Many of you seem bitter. I am a liberal first and therefore a democrat by default. Most of you are correct in suppositioning that Hillary is more right than Obama. But McCain is MUCH MORE RIGHT than Obama. He will suck up to anyone in the fundi right movement that will support him and he will owe them once he is in office. As a one-time Clinton (Bill) supporter, I will admit that I have lost a little of the "love", but this is war! Do you all really think that your average republican "likes" McCain? You have got to be kidding! But they will support him because they will control him. Meanwhile the democrats are having their own internal war! Strange how a few months ago we were optimistically saying that we have two great choices and we need to decide on one.....now we have gotten to this polarization that will likely hand the White House over to McCain (are you all really ready for a Cindy in the White House?) Maybe McCain will choose Huckabee as a VP, croak two months into office, and America once again gets what it deserves.....Think people!
  • Viceroy · 1 year ago
Yeah, you are exactly right. But where was all this outrage when Kerry, the gigolo mulitmillionarie was your candidate?
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
O/T While we were sleeping, another candidate who is on the radical left fringe of the democratic party, admits that he has failed to pay federal income taxes for years and coughs up 70 grand.
