how many more Minnesota style bridge collapses will occur from McCombover's "gas tax holiday" depriving bridge and road maintenance funds

I had the pleasure of watching the McCain interview on FOX today from NOLA...I think voters need to be concerned about his health, no matter what he says.
There were some very distracting "lumps" on his face, and the left side seemed more swollen than usual.

I hate Chris Matthews more than any thing I can think of.
As Katrina hit, McCain celebrated 69th birthday with Bush.»
Speaking in New Orleans about Hurricane Katrina today, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) tried to contrast himself with President Bush’s delayed response to Katrina, saying, “I would’ve landed my airplane at the nearest Air Force base and come over personally.” But as Newsweek notes, on Aug. 29, 2005, when Katrina had just hit New Orleans, McCain was posing with President Bush for his 69th birthday:
It was Aug. 29, McCain’s 69th birthday, and on the tarmac, Bush presented his old political rival with a cake. The two posed, holding the cake up for cameras, and within seconds, went their separate ways. The cake, melting in the 110-degree Arizona heat, was left behind, uneaten.
In New Orleans as part of his so-called "Forgotten Places" tour, former Navy airman John McCain found himself evading incoming flak over the most recent comments of Pastor John Hagee. Coming just days after George Stephanolous lobbed him a Hagee softball, McCain faced questions over Hagee's assertions that "God's hand" was behind Hurricane Katrina because New Orleans was a "sinful city." But still absent from the media discussion about John McCain and his supporter the End-Times Pastor Hagee is the question of conflict with Iran. Given his own tough talk toward Tehran, does John McCain agree with Pastor John Hagee that war with Iran is the fulfillment of biblical prophecy?
wonder if the priest was there to provide some cover for Hagee's "great whore" quote

One more politician attempting to use my city for his gain. Readers need to visit www.levees.org to see the truth about what happened to New Orleans. Tired of hearing about us? This site shows you over 120 levees all over this country that are unsafe. This is not about us; it's about numerous states with infrastructure, including levees, that are unsafe. Go get the truth and demand that anyone running for office tells you what pragmatic plans they have or will implement to fix what the Corps of Engineers has not. For the record, like her or not, only Hillary Clinton has proposed an infrastructure fund to make levees, all over this country, bridges, and roads safe as soon as possible. Pandering, patronizing, comments, or comments about hope and change don't do a thing in reality except pander and patronize. Action is the only thing that changes anything. Demand plans and action...not cheap, easy talk.

One more politician using my city for his gain. Everyone should visit www, levees, org to get the truth about what happened in New Orleans. Tired of hearing about us? Over 120 levees all this country are unsafe. Our roads, and bridges, and, yes, over 120 levees ALL OVER THIS COUNTRY are at risk, right now. Patronizing, pandering or comments about hope and change don't do a thing to change anything. Only action and plans for action and money behind those plans can do that. Like her or not, only Hillary Clinton has proposed an infrastructure fund to fix and maintain our country's infrastructure. Go to www.levees.org today. You will be surprised. I hope that those who read this comment will educate themselves and others about the truth of the Corps of Engineers and about the need to elect somebody who can do more than talk or take advantage of anyone for political gain.

This morning on the Today Show, Senator McCain provided another example of his something less than straight talk. Meredith Vieira was questioning the Senator about the anti-Obama ad running in North Carolina. Senator McCain went on to say that he did not approve of the ad and asked the North Carolina Repulican Committee to remove the ad, which they have not. Senator McCain claimed that he wanted to run a clean campaign and avoid disparaging or inflammatory attacks on Senators Clinton and Obama. He again stated his disapproval of the ad. Ms. Vieira stated that Senator Obama indicated that, as the Republican candidate for President, it was well within McCain's authority to demand removal of the ad. Ms. Vieira then asked Senator McCain if this, in anyway, would raise questions about his leadership ability. McCain, visibly irritated with the question, stated he did not understand the point of Ms. Vieira's question, and then immediately began to attack Barack Obama for his insulting "bitter, religion and guns" comment. So much for showing restraint and not waging a negative campaign. It is hard to believe, given President Bush's low approval rating, but if he is elected, John McCain would surpass Bush as the worst President we have had in the last 70 years.
There were some very distracting "lumps" on his face, and the left side seemed more swollen than usual.
Why does everything always have to be fucked up?
