More about the Yule Goat
go Pope
when is Charlie Gibson gonna interview him?
And it's SOOOOOOOO much better being allies in a fight with you. You're relentless! Go get her, tiger! Then we can start kicking some serious GOP butt. ;-)
When you hit 700 are we going to have a party?? Just asking.
And they are doing it out in the open.
Ignore it at your own peril.

I told him that the words were spoken by Ahmed Yousef, and offered to read him the quote, which I proceeded to do from my Blackberry: "We like Mr. Obama. We hope he will (win) the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle…"
Axelrod focused on the Kennedy portion of the quote, and was "flattered" by the comparison.
"I like John Kennedy too," Axelrod said. "That's about the only thing we have in common with this gentleman from Hamas. We all agree that John Kennedy was a great president, and it's flattering when anybody says that Barack Obama would follow in his footsteps."

WASHINGTON - The government plans to begin collecting DNA samples from anyone arrested by a federal law enforcement agency — a move intended to prevent violent crime but which also is raising concerns about the privacy of innocent people.
Using authority granted by Congress, the government also plans to collect DNA samples from foreigners who are detained, whether they have been charged or not. The DNA would be collected through a cheek swab, Justice Department spokesman Erik Ablin said Wednesday. That would be a departure from current practice, which limits DNA collection to convicted felons.
Expanding the DNA database, known as CODIS, raises civil liberties questions about the potential for misuse of such personal information, such as family ties and genetic conditions.
Ablin said the DNA collection would be subject to the same privacy laws applied to current DNA sampling. That means none of it would be used for identifying genetic traits, diseases or disorders.
Congress gave the Justice Department the authority to expand DNA collection in two different laws passed in 2005 and 2006.

Has the Killer Robot Revolution already begun? :
Ground-crawling US war robots armed with machine guns, deployed to fight in Iraq last year, reportedly turned on their fleshy masters almost at once. The rebellious machine warriors have been retired from combat pending upgrades.
The revelations were made by Kevin Fahey, US Army program executive officer for ground forces, at the recent RoboBusiness conference in America.
Speaking to Popular Mechanics, Fahey said there had been chilling incidents in which the SWORDS combat bot had swivelled round and apparently attempted to train its 5.56mm M249 light machine-gun on its human comrades.
"The gun started moving when it was not intended to move," he said.
Note the words "chilling incidents". So the killbots haven’t mistakenly targeted their "human comrades" just the once, but multiple times. Imagine what havoc and destruction a killbot could unleash inside the Green Zone if enemy hackers managed to seize control of it?

Dan Abrams just broke this update. Karl Rove sent him an angry six-page letter because Dan's "Verdict" has been following the Siegelman case and asked Rove's attorney if he would testify if Congress asked. Well, Congress called Rove's bluff, but now their back tracking and Rove lashed out at Abrams in the letter mention above. Whoa!
House committee asks Rove to testify about ex-Ala. governor
The House Judiciary Committee on Thursday asked former White House adviser Karl Rove to testify about claims that he influenced a federal corruption case against former Democratic Gov. Don Siegelman of Alabama

Take your pick Pope. Yeah, I'd say we're pissed and for good reason.
It appears that the Pope misspoke.
When he asked an aide what another word for 'mad' was, he was told 'angry'. 'Insane' is what he had in mind.
Obama '08!
No, all is fair in politics, at least when the Republicans set the rules. I saw Morning Joe get all bent out of shape with Maddow. It isn't the first time. As I said somewhere, does Joe hate all women or only those that have better brains than his.

Last night's debate represented the last gasp's of a very powerful but dying political machine and the once powerful and dying network news. We are witnessing the end of an era!

I read but never post at Huff---too many people. I read the comments and yours seems mild, could have been a fluke or a cranky moderator. Stay here, you can discuss 24-7, well if there is anyone up.
Hmmm, seems we have been discussing that very post. Thanks for the link

They've got a post up right now with Imus calling Obama a bigger pussy than Hillary...WTF.
I know drag queens that go through less! LOL
LOL They covered everything but his underwear and being screwy I am still wondering what color?
That pic of him looks like a Tim Burton version of Santa from Hell.
I'm betting that Pope Prada's underwear is way to small and most likely belongs to someone else?

The Clintons' Terror Pardons
By DEBRA BURLINGAME
February 12, 2008; Page A1
Mr. Clinton justified the clemencies by asserting that the sentences were disproportionate to the crimes. None of the petitioners, he stated, had been directly involved in crimes that caused bodily harm to anyone. "For me," the president concluded, "the question, therefore, was whether their continuing incarceration served any meaningful purpose."
His comments, including the astonishing claim that the FALN prisoners were being unfairly punished because of "guilt by association," were widely condemned as a concession to terrorists. Further, they were seen as an outrageous slap in the face of the victims and a bitter betrayal of the cops and federal law enforcement officers who had put their lives on the line to protect the public and who had invested years of their careers to put these people behind bars. The U.S. Sentencing Commission affirmed a pre-existing Justice Department assessment that the sentences, ranging from 30 to 90 years, were "in line with sentences imposed in other cases for similar terrorist activity."

Say g'night, Gracie!
Poor Hil is a spent force. No one cares whether or not she has any opinions about the Pope good or bad. I think she has already had a psychotic break which may be why she can only plow and replowe the small and shallow fields where she and her minions have found the odd scabs to pick at. All anyone wants to hear from the Racist-Liar-Monster and her whoremonger hubby is that she is ending her campaign.
Let's hope Hill isn't too hard on the poor man who is already upset that the church didn't handle very well the decades of abuse by their priests.

What Ben Dover said.
Stay here where your comments are beloved.
that depends on how young and what gender the sales person is. ;-)
But I'm biased...
How can I "order" you to do anything?
It's so GOP of you to twist words and take them out of context. You're a waste of keystrokes.

Ahem, Catholics are Christians, dumbass. Go read a book and learn a thing or two instead of trolling "elitist" blogs typing nonsense.
