AMERICAblog: Private Plane McCain feels your pain

  • bumpkis · 1 year ago
I hope they don't let him drive the plane....

Clinton could not even get by that that one with a straight face.

John "Campaign Finance Reform" McCain leads the way in skirting Campaign Finance Reform rules.

    How special!
  • Ben Dover · 1 year ago
Just imagine Grampa John with the keys to the Flying Frathouse (AF1)! He and Cougar McCain could finally fly in the manner to which they wish to grow accustomed!
For a mere homewrecking beer maid that's quite a step up.
They will be able to get further, faster. In order to feel our pain quicker and more deeply before jetting off for botox, and Geritol infusions.

    Best. Post. Title. Ever.

So McCain wants Obama to accept public funding, while his wife's deep pockets finance his campaign off the books. Grandpa's pulling a fast one.

The media is dumber than dirt.

Reverend Wright gives a stunning speech to the NAACP:

An extraordinary speech, fluid, deeply moving, and filled with the hope of unifying our percieved differences; and how we see others! This was not a political speech! However, even CNN will weigh in from a political perspective. It'll take an evening of talking heads, and the beauty of his words will drown in the rhetoric.

    Different is not Deficient!

    OK.

I officially hate that angry little pipsqueak.

Reverend Wright gives a stunning speech to the NAACP:

    ----

I've been of a mind just to get past it and not bring it up again, but I suppose it can help Obama if Rev. Wright does go out and talk to crowds and proves he's not a Minister Farrakahn type.

I was glad to see in the Fox News interview that Obama said if he made any deal with McCain, it would have to include the Repub 527s.

Frankly, I don't think Obama should make any deals with Private Plane McCain, but including the 527s is probably enough to kill a deal anyway.

You've seen how little control McCain has over the NC Repub Party. Imagine him trying to stop some Rich Wingnuts from outside the party.

um, using the term 'poor people' sort of smacks of, dare i say it, elitism, doesn't it?

Poor McGiggolo, he can't help it...
he wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but he got one from Cindy as soon as he ditched Carol...

    Wow, he really is delusional.
  • Doxy · 1 year ago
I was gobsmacked when I read what he said. I wonder if he's going to keep up this sort of thing when there's a nominee or if he's only taking advantage of the distraction of the contested primary.

Uhm, Senator McCain: Your wife has lent you the use of her private airplane. My readers want to know, just how much money must a person have before they can adequately afford their own private jet airplane?
  • redjb · 1 year ago
oh yea poor people are really worried about there capitol gains tax...

hah...He doesen't know what poor is...
  • bkmn · 1 year ago
Ummm...now that McShame has confirmed that his wife's money played a part in his campaign it is time to share her tax returns with the public....NOW!!!

Are you intentionally dim? It is legal to do what he did, and Hillary flies on corporate jets all the time for the same price. It just makes you look stupid to try to make a scandal out of something that is legal, and is being done by other candidates as well.

Manwhore McCrazy's wife has bought him everything else--she might as well try to buy him the presidency, too, eh? Social xrays like Cindy are cancers unto themselves...(apologies to Tom Wolfe).

Here's an interesting point. It’s one that should be raised after the Demo Convention, maybe even a week before the general election, as a sort of, well, October Surprise (betchya the Repukes’ve got one ready):

Is Cindy McCain an abused woman? Has McNuts ever hit her? Are there witnesses to other incidents of verbal or physical abuse? Any police records? Hospital visits? Neighbors complaining? Is he fit to be the chief law enforcement officer of this great land?

Does McCain’s military service medical record show any evidence of PTSD? He certainly underwent a lot of stress during his Vietnam service & captivity. Not to mention his plane crashes. This on top of a record of emotional imbalance and violent outbursts that predates his military service; McCain himself recently acknowledged that he was a belligerent little punk in high school. Is he fit to be CIC?

Was McCain himself abused by his hard-ass Old Navy Annapolis admiral Pops & Grandpops? And what sort of environment and home life did he have as a child of the South, growing up in the South back in the bad old days? Was his family part of the problem, or part of the solution? With such a high-profile family, it should be easy to find out. Is he fit to be the guardian of the Constitution, and the champion of the people’s rights?

And how people love to talk about people who’ve hurt, offended, or run roughshod over them. Is he fit to have a beer with?

    Anybody got Drudge’s phone number?

Hmmm, that was the wrong link; here's the one where McCain flips on the Wright issue:

McCain flips on Wright issue because of Obama statement and goes after Jeremiah.
