I expect the Republicans will soon organize a protest against undocumented farm laborers by tossing bags of lettuce into the garbage. The Great GOP Salad Tossing.
  • jcgraham77 · 8 months ago
OK...you deserve an award of some kind for that comment. A big ole stocking covered leg lamp!

The conservatives want to tea bag Obama's package? How David Vitter of them. :)
  • Philip · 8 months ago
The next time David Vitter is with one of his concubines I hope she gives him a Dutch Oven.

Sometimes you just have to ask a very naive question. While watching Rachel last night, I had to ask my partner if straight people knew what tea bagging was.
  • timncguy · 8 months ago
Did Rachel ever explain what the sexual definition of teabagging was or not? I was only half paying attention when she got started on the topic.
  • Ginger_FL · 8 months ago
I watched it last night and I don't think she ever explained what it meant.....she was laughing to hard.
  • timncguy · 8 months ago
it would have been much more fun if she had one of the "teabaggers" on as a guest and explained to him.
  • shell · 8 months ago
I didn't before yesterday. But "The Google" has many sites, explaining.
  • FP · 8 months ago
When Bush was Spending trillions and lying to start even more costly wars these same teabaggers were protesting the Dixie Chicks.

Now all of a sudden they care?

Obama is spending to fix the mess they Created!

    Fck these hypocrites! fck em!
  • jcgraham77 · 8 months ago
OMG>>>I thought I was losing my mind. I read a real news piece about tea bagging and thought what the f***??? It never mentioned the tea bagging I am familiar with. It just isn't the season to be Republican. Can they get anything right?? This is too good!!!
  • bard · 8 months ago
I keep saying it, but just when you don't think the wingers can outdo themselves when it comes to revealing their apparently bottomless levels of stupidity we have this. What is scary about this is - as usual - the percentage of the population who is absolutely clueless - who are swayed by the most ludicrous of proposals and ideas - and who end up participating (ie) the winger sheep. I wonder how long it will take for many of the supporters, who are 'good' Christians, to realize just how ridiculous and naughty they are actually being. I love it. Fortunately, in the case of Independents and upcoming elections, this kind of buttheadedness just serves to help the Democrats. Still, in the 'anals' of Repub history, this will go down as a classic.

Like when Palin shouted out "Joe Mama" on the campaign trail last year.
  • Ginger_FL · 8 months ago
Last week our local Tee Vee News featured a guy who had attended several of these "teabaggings" and was planning to have one here in Pensacola.
I was cracking up the whole time.
Have any of you watched "step brothers" ????
OMG.....Every time teabagging is mentioned....I can't get the image of Will ferrel's balls being dragged across the drum set LMFAO
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 8 months ago
John Waters first joked about it in "Pecker."

If you teabag for too long, the cup gets very bitter and harsh.
  • Wolfsinger · 8 months ago
"If you teabag for too long, the cup gets very bitter and harsh."

SECOND coffee spew of the morning. Where do I send my keyboard out for cleaning?

    LOL!
  • Ginger_FL · 8 months ago
Might want to invest in one of those plastic covers...or don't drink coffee while reading about Teabags ;P
  • Wolfsinger · 8 months ago
Good idea. A sort of keyboard condom? Given the context of the conversation that works for me.
  • example · 8 months ago
I'm pretty sure some of them knew what it meant. But also "tea bagging" can also mean simply putting your balls on someone's face as a joke (like if they're drunk at a party, for example), not necessarily having them go in someone's mouth.
  • caphillprof · 8 months ago
I don't think that's what they mean on craigslist.
  • Wolfsinger · 8 months ago
Apologies in advance.. I just had to. Thanks Rachel!

OMG! NOW I know why the Christian Values Republicans convention ICON was that elephant rearing up to mate.

Makes it easier for the likes of Rush, Hannity, Laura, Coulter, Kyl, Cornyn, Dobson, Maulkin, O'Reilly and Beck to

    say it with me now....TEABAG!

    You learn something new everyday.

I wonder what the Republicans are learning?
  • Ginger_FL · 8 months ago
You would think they would have figured out what we're all laughing about by now.
    Apparently not LOL

It's like when I was teaching in a Brit school...I said "Pants" and the kids started snickering and laughing.
I knew I'd said a faux paux....I asked the aide what I said...she told me "Pants" are undies so I should have said "Trousers".
Ah...quick fix....plus the kids got a good laugh out of it.
  • Wolfsinger · 8 months ago
Yeah. Its like that old line from that movie....

"What we have here is Failure to communicate"

I chalk up this FNC PR disaster to all that repressed Republican sexuality. It'll get you every time. Ask Sarah. She knows.
  • HereinDC · 8 months ago
    Hmmm,

Ana Marie Cox talking about teabaggin'

    LOL
  • Wolfsinger · 8 months ago
"mass organized public teabagging" as coffee spews!

How? HOW? Did you manage to keep your composure Rachel?

I saw this last night but it is even funnier this morning once the implications of this dawns on the idiots at FNC.

One would have at least thought that O'Reilly would have known what this meant.

    Thanks!
  • Ginger_FL · 8 months ago
And we thought having a Dem in the WH and a Dem controlled congress would be Boring LOL

The jokes just keep writing themselves !!

So much material...so little time LOL
  • Poopyman · 8 months ago
The best part was the stage crew laughing pretty much nonstop through the whole segment.

Rachel is The Master of self-control.
  • Wolfsinger · 8 months ago
Teabagging: is it nature or nurture?

    OMG! Eyes watering!

Can't you just imagine the look on some FNC producers eyes when they get into the office this morning and read the likes of these comments and Rachel's story?

It's making my sides ache with laughter.

The Wingnuts are saying to look out for "infiltrators and saboteurs" and not to give out contact information.

How can paranoids form a community?
  • kraftysue · 8 months ago
    Mike,
This from a 67 yr old straight woman, I had to Google the term to know what the heck this was all about. So glad I did as I have many conservative friends who are gathering in Kansas City the 15th, and I will be able to laugh every time I think about them.
    Never to old to learn.......................
  • Ginger_FL · 8 months ago
I didn't know what it was until I saw "step brothers".

Now all I can think about is the drum set that Will ferrell "teabagged" LOL
Funny movie if you havent' seen it.
  • Ginger_FL · 8 months ago
    hehehe

As funny as it is, and Rachael barely held it together last night during the discussion, the FOX news folks are trying to become a political party. The Tea Bag event is their idea and their event. We need to recognize that they are the voice of the GOP not Rush Limp-paw.
  • HereinDC · 8 months ago
There is a web site for: Tax Day Tea Party.

What a hoot. bunch of loons

Go to the DC site. My posts on the site were removed.

They have NO IDEA what "Teabaggin' is.
    LOL

2nd Circuit Provides Handy Legal Definition of "Tea-Bagging"
From Cioffi v. Averill Park High School, et al., No. 04-5593-cv (2nd Cir. Apr. 4, 2006):
    http://www.legalreader.com/archives/003197.html

In early October 2001 defendant McGreevy, the president of the Board of Education, received a letter from Lauren Ashdown, a parent of a high school football player. Ashdown relayed stories she had heard of disturbing misbehavior in the boys' locker-room such as a "shampoo bottle [being] shoved up [a student's] rectum." Cioffi and another administrator investigated Ashdown's allegations. The investigation led to an October 12, 2001 interview with a student on the football team. The student, a 14-year-old freshman, told Cioffi that he had been "tea-bagged" by other football players. Tea-bagging is a hazing act -- indeed a form of sexual assault -- during which the victim is pinned down on the floor by several players while another player rubs his genitalia in the victim's face.

Thanks, Judge Cardamone! (Hat tip to How Appealing)

THey're having one of those in my town here on 4/15----folks were on Tv news last night 'gettin ready to rumble'.........they had a video comment from the grandfather of one of my son's friends..........beyond the threshold of embarrassment.
Some 11 year old kid will have to fill in these morons on what it really means, then we'll really have a news blackout 'cause it will be too disturbing for tv
  • jcgraham77 · 8 months ago
And I thought I had nothing in common with the repugs!!! I will totally sign up!
  • Gus · 8 months ago
This is the reason Republicans should never be in charge of sex education.
  • Guest · 8 months ago
OK this is WAY too long.
  • Badger3k · 8 months ago
Why is this news? We've known about the teabaggers since they started, weeks ago. Is this supposed to be big because the MSM is finally paying attention to these idiots?
  • Ginger_FL · 8 months ago
Rachel has actually done a couple of segments on this issue....last night's program however was sooo freekin funny.
Even though we've all been laughing about it since it started...finally this open laughing was done on the TeeVee.

Finally....news we can believe in LOL
What better way to spend a friday...laughing at ignorant RW'ers who want to engage in "teabagging"
    LMFAO !!!
  • RobertSanDimas · 8 months ago
Reminds me of something that happened a few years ago in an adjacent community (LA CA here, so across the street is the "adjacent community"). Anyway, the city put up banners across their downtown streets claiming "'Plainview's' Cops are Tops!!" Which of course was meant to show appreciation and be supportive of the local force. It took a whole month before someone whispered in the Chief's ear telling him just what "tops" are.
  • Ginger_FL · 8 months ago
    LMFAO
I admit to being ignorant on the subject until I watched an episode of "Sex in the City" where it was explained to me LOL.

My husband has a gay guy working for him and he didn't know there was a difference until I told him. Then I had to explain I watched it on "Sex in the City".

Where would I be without Movies and Shows like "Sex" to educate me...oh that's right....I could start teaching HS classes again...then I'd know what was going on LOL.
  • shell · 8 months ago
I saw Rachel last night and I was laughing so hard! And she even had to order her assistants to quit laughing off stage or she would lose it. And then when Ana Marie Cox came out, it got worse (better). Great TV!
  • QueerGasm · 8 months ago
You are a republican at heart, trying to sound as bias as Rachel Maddow. LOL
  • shell · 8 months ago
Yes! That's me! A Republican! hahaha

    Truth:

I am a straight, white female with 3 children -- and a Democrat.

You are a gay man -- and a Republican.

    You never can tell.
  • QueerGasm · 8 months ago
So glad you didn't take Rachel Maddow seriously. She is only meant to for liberals on the extreme left to watch -- not mainstream America.
  • Rob Mule · 8 months ago
I'm guessing the obvious teabag honorary chairman, Larry Craig, wasn't mentioned because, as a private citizen now, mentioning him could cause expensive legal troubles for poor GE...
Surprised Rethugs don't want to teabag Chairman Steele but those nappy pubes can do a number on dentures.
  • stpaulgirl · 8 months ago
let's get involved...why don't we send phoney (or real from the meat market) cojones to the teabaggers' headquarters? anyone got an appropriate JPEG cartoon we can attach?
  • Meg · 8 months ago
OMG...i listened to the podcast on my way into work and was in tears, but to actually watch it....priceless!!!
  • Bilbo Baggins · 8 months ago

"The Great Tea Bag Scam!" ( A New ) "What Now Cartoon!"
The right wing is pulling yet another scam on the American public, this time as 95% of Americans get a tax cut, a small portion of the other 5% wants to wine about it like a bunch of stuck pigs. Now they want to re-wright the history the Boston Tea party to suit their fat bloated ways. The real history is that the colonists protested the East India Company for getting a free tax ride while the colonists paid hefty taxes, thus creating un fair competition from boat loads of tax free tea. This the corporate friendly few want to turn into an anti tax day. All because their tax rates jump from 32% to 39%!!!! My latest cartoon on this topic features Glenn Beck as the crying madhatter, it's up on my website right now.
