sounds like a great time to buy a house... but I can't even afford the one I'm in right now.

can't afford to sell it either... although, living under a bridge is pretty cheap I hear. My car isn't big enough to live in, and I can't afford to drive it anywhere but to and from work... can't sell it either, who wants a 10 year old Jeep? just about as hard to get rid of right now as the houses on the market.

but the economy is fine according to mcsame... who also admits he knows nothing about economics.

I suppose he means, the economy is fine if you're in a cushy job with a wife who is worth $100 million or so.

    it would be, wouldn't it?

Republicans will say it has nothing to do with their policies, it's only that Americans are not responsible.

It's bad, but "17 year low" is not the same as "sharpest quarterly decline." What is this, page 6?

Conservative economics as interpreted by the GOP means class warfare. This means bring in all the cheap labor you can get away with, legal or otherwise and ship jobs to where labor is even cheaper. This is what the Reagan Bush philosophy is all about. Only in a country that is fixated on something as simple minded as "American Idol" could you pull off something like this and leave the broken middle class believing itd there own fault.
