AMERICAblog: "Register for change" starts in Texas

  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
There's still a whole raft of white, black and latino kids out there who are not registered to vote and do not feel any connection to the system...
  • liberaldemdave · 1 year ago
There's a whole bunch of us Texans that like the color purple but we absolutely love BLUE! One race at a time, we're gonna take Texas back!

Rahm would give his left nut to destroy the 50 state strategy.
Lord knows he tried hard enough during the last election.
    Rahm = Choad.

    Howard Dean for VP....YEEEEEHAAAA!

This is an excellent strategy. We should not give up on the red states. There is still a large number of intelligent people, who can think straight. There is no hope whatsoever for the people who still think that republican policies are good.
If these last few years did not make them open their brains, nothing ever will.
Take that moron who put up that disgusting billboard in Florida, stating not to vote for democrats, with the picture of the twin towers, obviously he did not realize that Bush, the republican, was president, when we were hit.
It is people like him that will always continue to vote republican.

Ah, Howard. What a great president he would have been.

I wonder who is the poor bastard that will have to work North Dakota.

    (just kidding!)

    LOL.. that was funny.

This is a total Rovian strategy, but to move the centrists over to Obama we need to align McCain with groups such as the KKK or Fred Phelps church...or groups that openly want to make divorce illegal, alcohol illegal, gambling illegal, etc--it wouldn't be a lie...these people are his supporters. I just don't think they get enough attention in the media and they might want to voice their support of their candidate.

This is exciting. It's time to get excited again! Obama said there would be a chorus of cynics, and he was right about that. It's time to get the young people out to vote so we can flush the system of the old, post world war two neocon war monger mind set. (That's a mouth full).

I am helping canvas for Obama this weekend in deepest crimson red Jacksonville Florida. What is ironic is that there are more registered Dems than Repugs in Duval county, yet our government does not reflect that. That is all going to change my friends. The republicans know this, and they are scared. (hence that ridiculous billboard in Orlando).

    Obama 08!

We are going to win this thing, and I promise you Florida will be blue this year. I am confident.

    One more fun fact:

Thus far this year in Florida:

    Newly registered Democrats: 200,000
    Newly registered repugs: 80,000

I just heard something today that said we are out registering reps 7 to 1.

These are the numbers you will never see reflected in the polls.

    TWO WORDS:

    TIDAL WAVE.

Just read about Rahm Emanuel wanting to become Speaker on another site and how he claims to be responsible for our midterm win in 2006. Bull, bull, and more bull. It was Howard Dean not those idiots from the DLC who engineered it, and I'm tired of them trying to steal that accomplishment away from Dean. It sort of reminds you of what McBush and the Republicans are doing now: they couldn't trash Obama's patriotism enough when he suggested diplomacy was the way to go or that Afghanistan was the real problem, yet now they are on the bandwagon as if those were two of their ideas in the first place. Go, Governor Dean, you are still on the right path and looking fit to do battle.

Good for Texas! Now to keep the bus running and the ball rolling. This election belongs to the Democrats. (unless they throw it away again . . . )

Howard Dean was great on the Ed Schultz Show today. He's really pumped up and passionate about winning in every town in America
  • vwcat · 1 year ago
Dean is going to take it on the road and we cheer him on. I am so glad we are finally going to compete everywhere and not stick with that stupid failed 10 state strategy.
You can only win when you compete and compete everywhere.

That's how you win a fight. You go and take it to them. You don't only go to places that are easy to win and write off every other place. You have to show up to win.
