AMERICAblog: Rep. Michelle Bachmann oozes hatred for Obama, accuses members of Congress of being un-American

  • FunMe · 1 year ago
What's up with Michelle's eyes? Is she doing crystal meth like Ann Coulter? coke? "prescription" drugs?

I mean where else could her hate and actually ANTI-American behavior come from?

Maybe Cindy McDruggie can tell us.

Who the hell elected this pin head as a senator. Holy Christ, are the people from Minnesota out of their minds. I would hope that both Republican and Democrat senators condemn this kind of comment and ban these useless pieces of shit to some small island in the middle of lake Superior.

She's a hateful, vicious person who I would also describe as what John McCain once called his wife Cindy.
  • PeteWa · 1 year ago
Her vacant barbie doll does meth eyes are pretty scary...

But when it comes down to it,
if I had never seen her eyes,
I would still vote for a used piece of bubblegum that someone had just spit on the sidewalk over the brittle husk of a woman known as Michelle Bushmann.

Everyone should send MSNBC an e-mail telling them that either Mathews smacks down this kind of behavior, and strongly, or don't let it on.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Matthews has been smacking down this behavior, maybe not as strong as we would like, but almost daily he has brought up the stupidity of the Ayres attacks and name attacks.
  • CPL · 1 year ago
He challenged her to name names of her colleagues who she considered "Un-American".

She better not allow herself to get caught with the sistas in the Black, Asian or Latino caucuses - they will break out the cans of whip-ass so fast, she'll run back to Minnesota.
  • ZennButtKicker (tlhwraith) · 1 year ago
Why censor it? I say let the cowards have the soapbox and expose their sheer hatred for all to see. A very small, already polarized, section of the populus will respond favorably to her crap, the rest will see it for the hate-mongering it is. When you put the reality of Obama next to the Muslim loving-American hating terrorist charicature the GOP wants to paint, it's almost comical how off base they are.
  • Mickey7 · 1 year ago
I agree. I think Matthews himself was stunned and thought he was giving her enough rope to hang herself, but in the process, he allowed her a free, almost entirely unchallenged platform to tell lies and make insinuations. I guess I don't have the confidence that many of you seem to have that typical viewers will get the "hanging herself" part. Of course we believe she hung herself and recognize how appalling and dangerous she is, but for the casual 'low information' viewer, I'm not sure Matthews did a good job at all of getting that across.
  • RLG · 1 year ago

Well, I checked out the video from the link you gave here. I sent copies of it to friends who have functional media players, so I can get it played back to me at some point. In the meantime, I checked out the comments.

Apparently the video is of a dangerous crazy who is citing her religious beliefs as a justification for hating all sorts of people who are not of her ilk. (I deduced the religious thing because she was obviously speaking @ a church, probably a mega).

And these delicate flowers felt that Rep. Lewis (D-GA) was out of line for making factual observations about the hate-fests for Mc/Palin last week?

  • Hardy_Haberman · 1 year ago
This is another trial balloon by the GOP for a talking poingt. Sarah Palin used the same term "Pro-American" in a speech today. I suspect the GOP is trying to substitute "pro-American" and Anti-Ameircan" or Conservative and liberal. Look for these terms to start popping up on the Sunday talk shows.

Minnesota, it is time you replaced this deranged, ignorant, woman, with someone worthy of your state. She is really a nut job. She smiles vacantly, sometimes, that looks spooky. What the hell is she spewing? This is what is going around in this country. Palin has unleashed racism, hatred, and ignorance too. This is frightening. She should be ashamed to be called a Congresswoman.
  • Kcunac · 1 year ago
OMG--- I haven't even watched the clip yet and I am having a stroke. This woman drives me bonkers! Have you ever seen her on Larry King (I guess the Matthews clip is the same thing) that wretched, perpetual smile at the most inappropriate moments. If she isn't an imbecile she is to imitations of imbeciles what Tina Fey is to Sarah Palin. My God, if she's up for re election, Minnesota, RISE UP! I don't know where she came from, I don't care where she came from, just send her bloody back to where she came from!

On the other hand, if I was in Minnesota, I reckon I'd want her in Washington as much as possible, too.

I wish there were a 527 that would put up ads about Charles Keating, and G. Gordon Liddy, and McCain's connections to Saddam Hussein, and the Iran Contra criminals.
  • ZennButtKicker (tlhwraith) · 1 year ago
Why? I daresay Obama is winning partly because he's being perceived as much more likeable than MCCain. The minute he (or a surrogate) gets too rough with McCain, that advantage evaporates. People are already becoming a bit numb to the death spiral of the economy, Obama needs to preserve and foster every natural advantage he has.

There is little to be gained by going for the short term visceral reward of hitting back. Patience and restraint, Obama and the Dems are handling business and the time for settling scores is for later.
  • samiinh · 1 year ago
You are right. It just gets my bp up when I hear people like this bitch

Every night my wife and I scream at the TV at the sheer insanity of the GOP. Once we let the catharsis(sp?) of that release come over us, we sign up to volunteer or something and sleep like babies. Good things come to those who wait, but I understand that so many Dems are getting skittish because there's a real chance we may win this time.
  • samiinh · 1 year ago
I guess not all the folks in MN are impressed by this bitch.

    Clueless

    1. Corrine Brown (D-Fla.)

    2. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.)

Brown has a knack for the impolitic; Bachmann clung to George Bush so tightly after this year’s State of the Union address that some joked he might need a restraining order.

Rep. Bachman is not merely crazy, she is profoundly stupid. As a postconviction criminal lawyer, I can tell you that the combination of mental illness and stupidity is lethal. As if I know something everyone else doesn't know. It's just more immediate in my line of work.

I thought Matthews was disgusting. He asked no challenging Hardball questions. He pretty much gave her an open mike to spew her vomit. If Bachmann is so concerned about Anti-Americans, what about Sarah Palin who pals around with secessionists? How about John McCain who pals around with criminals like G. Gordon Liddy?

Her comments are disgusting. I tried to send her an e-mail from her House site and it wouldn't accept my zip code. I tried to call and leave a message and the message said her box was full. What a chicken. So, go to her website and type in one of the zip codes from the bottom of the page - it will then let you in the system. She's hopefully a LOSER!!!
  • KSUwildcat · 1 year ago
This is the email I sent her.

That was some scary rant that Michele went on and on and on with Chris Matthews just now. I resent that she called me un-American because I have liberal beliefs. How is America doing in 2008 after 8 years of a conservative government that you would label pro-American? It always takes a liberal president to clean up the mess left by a conservative one. FDR after Hoover, Clinton after Bush 1, and now Obama after Bush 2. I could take time to list a few more but I'm off to find your opponent's website to send them a contribution. That's how pro-American I am !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just donated to Elwyn Tinklenberg's campaign to defeat this hateful nutbag. She is obviously very worried about be voted out of office to be so vicious and blatantly deceitful.

I may have misheard her but what I heard on one of her interviews tonight is that she helped to rewrite the bail out bill by cutting out a piece of the wording that would have given 20% of the $7 billion to ACORN. Huh!? Did anyone else hear something like that? Or can you tell me what she did say about that.

Get her where it hurts all republicans-in the pocket book. Donate anything you can to get her defeated.
  • MnDem · 1 year ago
I'm surprised that she didn't come right out and accuse our congressman, Keith Ellison. As most of you know, Keith, from Minnesota's 5th district (Minneapolis and some suburbs) is the first Muslim in Congress. Michelle hates Keith and has never hidden it. She's crazy, but not stupid enough to name him on national TV, as it would backfire completely in Minnesota.

As others have pointed out, her district is in central Minnesota, which has lots of farming communities with pro-life Catholics. But El Tinklenberg, her Democratic opponent, is a great candidate who fits the district very well. He is on the conservative side but a good man who appeals to Dems and Independents (he served as Jesse Ventura's Commissioner of Transportation).

If you're so inclined, send him some money. Bachmann can be beaten.

Wasn't Bachmann the freak who, at Bush's State of the Union address about 3 years ago, got there HOURS early, to get an aisle seat? Because she wanted to shake Bush's hand. What a fool she made of herself! She asked for an autograph and even kissed him, as I recall. Jumping up on top of chairs to get in pictures with him.

She is definitely deranged. I can understand greedy GOPers. They are into money, at all costs. But the religious nutballs -- they really are nuts.

    Another from the Bachmann HOF:

"[Pelosi] is committed to her global warming fanaticism to the point where she has said that she's just trying to save the planet," Bachmann told the right-wing news site OneNewsNow. "We all know that someone did that over 2,000 years ago, they saved the planet -- we didn't need Nancy Pelosi to do that."
