  • HereinDC · 7 months ago
Wasn't David Duke kicked out of Austria... visiting last month?
  • keineFurcht · 7 months ago
He was arrested in the Czech Republic.
  • woodroad34 · 7 months ago
And Rush was arrested in Palm Beach. la Cage Aux Folles.

Duplicated from my post earlier, below, but this just cries out to be noticed....

Well. After her ethnicity, her intelligence, her dietary habits ....we ALL knew it was going to go here, but this quickly?

The depth these convicted repig FELONS will sink to, never ceases to amaze me.

    What no dyke rumor????

Oh it was "out there" - all over that wingnut cesspool, the ironically named "free republic" - within about fifteen minutes of her nomination, along with comments about her looks, heritage, weight, diabetic status and just about every other bigoted, homophobic remark that those asswipes could dream up.

I'm confused. About 90 percent of Rush's audience likes David Duke -- so, what's his point?
  • mark · 7 months ago
The more Republicans Rush suffocates by sitting on their faces and makes them unelectable.....the BETTER.

    G. Gordon Liddy, another unelected leader of the GOPer hate fest on am radio, discusses his concerns about a female justice...

dear god, let them keep talking...

oh-sorry, someone already posted this...but it bears repeating...

To be absolutely fair, David Duke was once a Democrat too. Though of course, that be a "Southern Dem", or perhaps Dixiecrat.
  • woodroad34 · 7 months ago
Or just plain ol' republican. Names change, personalities and character rarely do.

LOL - I always thought Rushiepoo was insane, but he's really starting to loose more of his mind each day.
  • hopeless pedant · 7 months ago
Cornyn's big contributors are likely less-wingnutty and pro-business, and probably led the way in encouraging him to speak out.

Sure, he risks alienating social-issue and crazy contributors. but my guess is that they are a much smaller percentage.

This has been the easiest 100+ days in memory. It's refreshing and rather fun to just be able to sit back and let Rush Limbaugh destroy the Republican Party for us.

    Go Rush, go!

Why am I not surprised? Unbelievable that that blowhard makes $36m a year. That should be a crime

REMEMBER THE LATE JOSEPH WELCH OF THE MCCARTHY ERA? HIS FAMOUS WORDS, "SIR, HAVE YOU NO DECENCY?' WHAT DO YOU THINK RUSH'S ANSWER TO THEM WOULD BE? HE'S A DISGRACE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE; HE HAS NO DECENCY.
  • woodroad34 · 7 months ago
nor do his supporters. There is a hardcore of non-prison citizens out there who are indecent in every sense of the word.
  • samiinh · 7 months ago
People like Dick Cheney, who should be a prison citizen.

    psu2009,

ALL CAPS are considered to be shouting, they are difficult to read, and we prefer you not use them.

Over the years, Rush has certainly said things that have irritated me, but I have to say that the things he's saying these days are awesome!!

The kinds of claims Rush is making are not only insane, but hateful and completely out of touch with average Americans.

Guys like Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck and O'Reilly are the voice of the party and they speak to the core of the GOP. Unfortunately for them, that's only about 20% of the American population. Meanwhile, they are alienating everyone else -- including the fastest growing group of Americans.

The most laughable claim is the 'she's a racist' comments. In my life, the people who have been most apt to make such claims about people of other races were those who were racist themselves. Reason being, it's no fun being a racist if the people you hate actually don't hate you back. So if they don't, you make make it up and convince yourself of it. That's what Rush is doing here.

hmm... the 'Democrat' party is vicious.

no rush... FACTS are vicious to the neocon agenda.

"So why isn't he supporting her?"

Dumbass -- because he's supporting you, Ginrich, and Cheney. Geez! Doncha know who your base is, Lardo?
  • Damned_at_Random · 7 months ago
When is Cornyn up for re-election? At some point he will have to decide between alienating the Limbaugh constituency and the Hispanic population of Texas (HINT- only one of these is increasing in size)

I don't envy him trying to do fundraising in this environment - I doubt that the moneyed interests that the Repubs depend onwant to be associated with the wingnuts - and they also are sensitive to the fastest growing demographic group.

Last night on Bill Maher's show, John Bolton was a guest on the panel. When Sotomayor was brought up by Hill Harper, Bolton snaps back (as only the belligerent can), "So you want a whole court of Clarence Thomases?" My jaw dropped. The true face of the GOP. Who's the bigot?

BTW, he also said something else which surprised me and I wonder if anyone can answer this. He said he left the GOP and the Bush administration for a whole lot of reasons. What was he talking about? I assumed he was hardcore rethuglican; was there bad blood somewhere?
