AMERICAblog: Russert: It's over for Hillary. She lost

  • Heather · 1 year ago
    Woooooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooo!!
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Finally! Finally, Russert has thrown in the towel. I get satisfaction that Terry McAwful had to eat his words, words he spewed all day on MSNBC. Noticeably absent from MSNBC's coverage tonight was Andrea Mitchell, I assume she is providing crying tissues to Senator Clinton.

Yes -- if Obama is the nominee, then by the time the GOP is done with him, he will carry 4 states and DC in November.

    Graham,

Get on your knees and swallow the certain fact that Obama will be the dem nominee, for denying the obvious will in time make it far more humilating and painful than it should be. Yes you can.

    It's over, it's really over.

If current trends continue in Lake County, Obama should pick up ~47,625 votes, putting him in the lead (he's currently behind by 20,667). This is totally based on in my head math but can't be that far off, ... if you assume Lake County 28% of precincts is 28% of the population, and just scale up the numbers, Obama will get an additional 47,625 votes. Add in Monroe County (which Obama is also wining by a large margin) ... and consider Union County (which Hillary will win) is smaller than either Monroe or Lake by a large margin (likely only to have 7000 votes or so i'd guess based on the counties around it).

In my opinion, it looks like Obama has won IL! Hillary will HAVE to drop out now!
  • donotmakemecomedownthere · 1 year ago
"Hillary wins the hearts of millions in defeat"
"Clinton wins, but courageously decides to concede"
"Obama grateful to have Clinton endorsement"

I don't think the main stream media knows what to say. They have been so weighted for Clinton they are more or numb over this turn around. I have no doubt that once they catch their breaths they will be all over Obama.

America is still a land of racism. That's why I am convinced that Obama will be crushed.

Though it's admittedly a small sample, I've talked to two people (lifelong Democrats) who openly admit they are switching to GOP because they will NEVER vote for a black man.

And for every one that admits it, there's probably 5 who won't admit it, but will vote for McCain.

You know part of what you say is right, there will be people who will never vote for Obama, but judging from the way he has conducted his campaign I think people will decide that a 3rd term of Bush would be worse than a black man being president. Could be wrong but that is what I think.

I heard earlier on one of the networks where it was mentioned the only way Clinton could conceivably win is if there's another Obama scandal that's even bigger than Reverend Wright and that causes the superdelegates to jump ship over to Clinton's camp.

I hope this was just speculation. I'd hate to think what Clinton (and/or her team) would try to cook up next.

Clearly he is saying in this clip what most of us want to hear but his record of being a top-level washington insider MSM hack has tarnished his reputation. I'm not saying I disagree with him, and I trust that the spirit of this post is about the perception of his opinion rather than the validity of his opinion. Meaning: his views are regarded with greater weight than most political "reporters". She's going to make it as nasty for Obama as she possibly can. The Senate ought to remember her 'grace' in the campaign and respond to her in like manner. The Clintons has become an embarrassment to America. They are no longer any asset. They are a distinct liability. She needs to thank Rush Limbaugh for getting her this far. And stop blaming old ladies for support. The 'dittoheads' have put her where she is nd the media complied with them. They're trying to manipulate democracy for evil gains.

My parents recently retited and moved from their home in Plano where I was raised for the majority of my childhood. they are back in Durant and I will be there this weekend for mother's day. 4.5 hour trip from north here in beautiful Austin.

To put your analysis another way, McCain is a moeny marionette whore and Clinton is an Arkansas dough girl.

    Hillary won?
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Nobody's going to vote for McCain. He's a weasel! Obama will be pres.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
It's not about race; it's philosopy. Barack is better than Clinton. He actually worked for a living at one point in his life. McCain? Go figure....

Webster, you're a known necromonger. You only smile when our guys are dying . It won't matter who is pres. You'll get your rocks off... just sayin....

Once again, Busboy, I have to remind you not to engage in a battle of wits with me--you're only half-equipped. I'm not the one who looks at the dead in Iraq as just numbers, that's you. What a pitiful little whatever you are.

tb, could anyone possibly pay taxes to a country run by a pres or congress which has pissed away our money worse for the last 30 years?
  • tbhull · 1 year ago
Yes, over 180 million currently do, rightly or wrongly.
  • tbhull · 1 year ago
Not a problem given that stupid fucks similar to GrahamCrackerinDC voluntarily contribute to Clinton when she is a known and proven failure.

I'm not so sure. Regular people gave almost nothing to Hillary.
She has run whiny-ass crybaby spots to try and raise money. She has threatened to nuke them all and let God sort them out...instilling fear and begging for dollars to rule the world. THE WORLD I TELL YOU!
    lol

NOBODY but PEOPLE such as MARK PENN like Hillary and they ONLY WANT HER FOR HER POWER.
    Now, that's gone too.

How ;long before Billy-Bubba avoids the door hitting him in the ass?

Webster, you can pucker up and kiss my ass. You are psychopathic about deaths in Iraq. We can agree about who should be pres; but, you will always be a member of the chickenshit "Sheehan" revolution. You will never be satisfied and will always be a pissed off ineffectual elitist.

Smile, Webster, your dream has come true. Tell us how many died today , so we can say our rosaries and bless you for reminding us....
  • Webster · 1 year ago
Screw you Busboy and the Mark Foley who rode in on you.
  • moreleesafer · 1 year ago
oh that is funny! I'm saving that.

Very good, Webster. Remember in the future how kind you were to those lesser than you....
  • Webster · 1 year ago
You mean, Busboy, like the compassion you show for the families of those who have died in vain in this stupid, meaningless war? That compassion?

    Boo. Hoo. Poor. You.
