What do you call artificial intelligence....a blonde who has dyed her hair brown...(PALIN QUEEN OF THE DINOSAURS)
  • davespicer · 1 year ago
Now, why ever would she think they were chanting not "Louder!" but "Liar!"?
  • moreleesafer · 1 year ago
My Mom used to say "If you hit a dog, he'll hollar."

It is the Midwest version of "Me thinks thou dost protest too much."
  • MoonDragon · 1 year ago
She doesn't have to answer questions. It's not important that she listen to anyone. It's her show. She's the only one to whom attention may be paid. Don't interrupt her, or doggone it, she'll kick your ass or shoot you from a plane, you betcha.
  • Wolfsinger · 1 year ago
    Church Lady says:

Oh my. It seems the "Blessed Sarah" is feeling a bit twitchy.

But, Oh! Isn't she ready with a snappy retort ...in the off chance she actually does get heckled.

I wonder how long she was up memorizing that one?

With apologies to Dana Carvey - Isn't she... Special
  • ShirleyGoodnessanMercy · 1 year ago
Do you suppose she winked when she said "I hope those protesters have the courage and honor to give veterans thanks for their right to protest."??
  • Wolfsinger · 1 year ago
A "blink" and a hail and hearty "You betcha" would seal the deal nicely der hey.

Oh! That Sarah. She's one rootin tootin moose shootin Suuupper VP don'ch know.
  • ShirleyGoodnessanMercy · 1 year ago
You know, the McCain campaign simply couldn't be more ridiculous if I were writing the script myself.
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
what was the movie about the President with Bob Newhart and Gilda Radner?

    life immitates art?
  • RevDrBillyBob · 1 year ago
Who's managing her "campaign" ? The people who work at theonion.com ? or at MADTV ? or at the National Lampoon ? Just asking . . . .
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
I'm waiting for her to offer all her supporters a puppy or kitten.

it just seems like something she'd do for some reason.

either that, or someone's going to discover her "Dr. Laura" picts.

one or the other has GOT to happen... she really is an insult to Women everywhere, AND the intellect of the American voting public.

its fun to watch their numbers drop though.
  • imjussayin · 1 year ago
I've said it before and I'll say it again.

The McCain campaign is political satire.
  • AdrianBrowne · 1 year ago
A Republican nominee worthy of the office of Vice President would have just shot any hecklers in the face. Or at least had Crazy Todd the Enforcer have a word with them.
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
    well... a little TOO obvious.

you'd at LEAST have to pretend to take them hunting first.
  • jescot · 1 year ago
I think they were really chanting - "Chowder Chowder " -
Isn't it about time she revealed her Alaskan Salmon Chowder recipe? Who is Sarah really?
  • AdrianBrowne · 1 year ago
"With only a few weeks left until election day, let's be blunt: McCain-Palin '08 does not seem to be making headway against the polling."

"Imbecile" is my current favorite word. And what's really super is, I get to use it a lot these days. A lot. And its name is Sarah.
  • unrepentant_expat · 1 year ago
"Some in the crowd had stood in place for more than three hours on a sunny day without shade. At least 25 people collapsed from heat-related illnesses and three were hospitalized, according to authorities with the Henrico County fire department."

...It wasn't the heat , but the reaction to what they heard once she spoke louder.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
    LOL....exactly....My freindss
  • FunMe · 1 year ago
Sarah ... oh what a phoney baloney with a wig, lipstick and a wink.

    How apropos.
  • Ben Dover · 1 year ago
Veterans didn't give us our right to protest, Caribou Barbie.
That was given in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, you know, the founding documents that your ilk have spent the last many years trying to destroy.
The veterans are/were there to "Preserve, Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States."

I'm really starting to have a very strong dislike of Caribou Barbie.
  • paige · 1 year ago
    Amen Ben.
  • davidkingofall · 1 year ago
Actually, we are endowed with our rights by our Creator. The Constitution serves to enumerate them and to describe a framework by which government is arranged without abridging them. :-)
  • ckerst · 1 year ago
Don't forget her son cut the brake lines on a school bus so he could go to Iraq and defend your right to protest.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
Is that true??? really? That entire family are a bunch of nut cases.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
The very thought of Palin's already shrill voice getting louder, makes my ears hurt.
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
We should all celebrate the progress women have made to the point at which, in 2008, Sarah Palin can, convincingly, be called a "dick."
  • Wesinoregon · 1 year ago
I hope the military guys enjoy their own freedom, as ours, to vote down this bitch.
  • falloch · 1 year ago
Talked with my 80-yr-old mom tonight - Mom the diehard Republican - is completely bewildered about who to vote for, and is on the verge of just not voting at al. She thinks McCain 'stands for our values' (AHEM, not mine (but is useless re: economy,, while at the same time flummoxed by Caribou Barbie: 'I now it'd be nice to have a woman in office who's not Hilary Clinton, but Palin is just not right...'. I think even my old Bronx Irish-Catholic, 'pro-life' (cause they're not) under-the-breath-muttering racist mother is totally freaked by Cleavage/Crucifix Grrl - and my betting is that there's a hell of a lot more of these folks out there ready for the nice persuasive phone call, a la Sarah Silverman. It's not just a question of Jewish grandchildren schlepping down to their grandmas'; what're we Irish-Catholics going to do? Thanksgiving's obviously too late - concentrate on All Saints' Day 1 November (sort of like Catholic Yom Kippur - Day of the Dead type stuff), i.e. day after Halloween - to go after your older Catholic grandparents/parents, and tell them to hold their noses and vote for the nice black guy, who's funnily enough only 50% black . RIDICULOUS!!
I cannot belive how sick Mcpalin's campaign has becone - wait, I should've believed how sick all along..
  • falloch · 1 year ago
Sorry for all the typos - just got in from work and was trying to do too many things at once....
  • paige · 1 year ago
Well, the Palin/McCain ticket have so many protesters at their rallies, you can hardly blame her for assuming that's what was happening. Combine that with the fact she's not so smart and it would be surprising if she'd come to any OTHER conclusion.

Interesting to note that Obama had a similar problem at an Ohio rally over the weekend and he joked with his supporters and switched to a different mic.

The Palin/McCain campaign is not only erratic, they're painfully aware of the vast numbers of Americans really, really dislike them. That's why you saw this overly defensive, assume-the-worst-response from the Evil Queen of the North Pole.
  • disneycorporation · 1 year ago
But they don't, right? these things are so tightly orchestrated that there isn't often much threat of actual hecklers. I'm sure they have so many protesters OUTSIDE their rallies, but inside? Rarely, right? They just are haunted with paranoid delusions of some nefarious orchestrated smear campaign by a small but powerful number of... terrorists, academics, elites, journalists, community organizers. In reality, this band of imagined Soros zombies is nothing more than the American people collectively deciding that these people do not represent them. Their paranoia is now so complete they'll even lash out at their own supporters if those supporters if those supporters accidentally throw them off-script.
  • WordSmith · 1 year ago
How cute she has such a ready answer - fucking dimwit.
  • KISSman · 1 year ago
Duuuurr. Leave it to the airhead to make such a blunder.
  • disneycorporation · 1 year ago
Anything she doesn't understand, she deems a threat, an attack. And she doesn't understand ANYTHING. She goes through each day heroically dodging one imaginary beast in the jungle after another. It's reflexive, this fake victimhood. Journalism? Well, she's never actually seen, heard, or read any, therefor it MUST be vicious and about to devour her! People screaming at her rally: America-haters, obviously! The only real scary monster she's ever been savaged by is Ignorance. Otherwise she's a perfectly pampered little flower. And, yeah, Sarah, dear, you can thank the courage and honor of our veterans for the privilege of being so utterly vacuous.
  • TomJoad · 1 year ago
Worst kind of lie going. Our "right to protest" is not derived from a soldiers good will, or service. It is an unaliable right, acknowledged in the constitution of the United States.
