"On the prospect of becoming a candidate for vice president:
'It kind of cracks me up. It is so far out of the realm of possibility and reality.'
    --August 14, 2008, Financial Post"

Even when shooting in the dark, a hunter may occasionally hit her target.

I know this may sound silly... but....
go to rants and raves on Craig's List
    Post these quotes.
Makes sure in the header you can get the quote.

go to sites all over the country....not just DC/Virgina/Maryland

    They spread lies....we spread truth

She has a degree in journalism from the University of Idaho? Who accredited them?
  • Sage24 · 1 year ago
How pathetic. We have a candidate of this low caliber, who might be a heartbeat away from the Presidency. She was successful in duping the people of Alaska into voting for her, and the chances of her doing the same on the mainland seems possible too. This reminds me very much of the 2000 elections. Many of us knew that Bush was unqualified, a trigger happy cowboy, a divider, a liar, and who would start wars, and make the country bankrupt, and we were right.
I can see that Palin is wrong and dangerous for this country too, and it is frightening that she may have to step into McCain's shoes one day.
    God help the USA.

Read Obama vs. McCain economic policies.
Guess which one will be a disaster?

So, is BusinessWeek a liberal rag? I've never heard it accused of that. This is a very important article -- just the thing to appeal to undecided folks who are more focused on their own finances than anything else. Thanks for posting!

Palin fits right into the Republican mold - all fluff and no substance. Losers, the bunch of them.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
A certain amount of "fluff" is acceptable....
  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
Reminds me of a sandwich from (Maine?) called a Fluffer Nutter - white bread, peanut butter, and marshmallow cream.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
That's outlandish! I'll have to make one for the grandkids....
  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
    Yuck!
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
The first thing that's going to happen when we elect a new president is that every wannabe country is going to test him. Just like the Chinese tested Bush by capturing our airforce personnel. If the new president flinches? Then, that's his legacy. Obama's a flincher. McCain is not. Ordinary people with families to care for can see this. A-bloggers cannot...
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
Every wannabe country tested Bush...and look what happened..

    Bush=McSame
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Yeah, they got their collective asses kicked up between their shoulder blades. What's Obama's plan? To talk them into submission?
  • Jhyder · 1 year ago
Got their asses kicked? Are you delusional?Quit rewriting history jackass.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Bin Laden, if alive, is living in a cave. Saddam Hussein is dead. The Chinese are facing a revolution. Cuba is facing a civil war. Ahmadinejad will probably be exterminated before the election. Chavez will probably be executed by the CIA or his own military. Any favorites I haven't mentioned?
  • ClintonHater · 1 year ago
And why is Bin Laden still alive? Because Bush McCain and company pulled troops away from Tora Bora and let him escape to start planning their invasion of Iraq. Just another example of McCain helping out this country's enemies.

Oh and by the way Ahmadinejad doesn't run Iran; Ali Khamenei does you dumbshit.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
We'll know who runs Iran when the Israelis start to bomb the compacted shit out of them....
  • Jhyder · 1 year ago
Nuclear war Yay! sounds great.......let's all kill each other! You guys wanna make armageddon don't you,And i mean small a armageddon.......
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
You don't exterminate half the roaches in the house. You exterminate all of them...
  • Jhyder · 1 year ago
Bin Laden is/was a CIA-backed tool of the USA to fend off Communist Russia.....Sadaam Hussein posed no threat to us ...and by the way we propped him up and Donald Rumsfeld sold him the biological weapons to gas the Kurds....The Chinese are not facing a revolution....did you pull that out of your ass?...they enjoy owning half our country with all the debt theyv'e absorbed from us(borried money)Chavez has already survived 2 CIA backed attempted coups/assasination attempts because he is doing what is right for his people and not what the USA wants him to do....So we see a pattern here don't we? Do what we(USA) want or we'll(try) to destroy you....so far out of those mentioned above one is dead and because of that we have lost the moral highground in our status in the world, former allies don't trust us as much and we've thrown trillions in the toilet not to mention killing millions of innocents.....BTW Cuba has been in unrest for more than 80 years moron....read some history books, read newspapers,READ!!!!!
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
How could you be a literate adult in the USA and be so totally misinformed? Didn't you have any classes in world politics or international relationships? Studies of the causes of international conflicts? Genocidal campaigns?
  • Jhyder · 1 year ago
That is the question I pose to you.....You re the mis-informed one
  • Jhyder · 1 year ago
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Let me guess, your age is 40 or less?
  • Jhyder · 1 year ago
What is your point? If you can't tell by my picture, I'm 27.What does this mean? Are you an agist? How dare you you.....what if I were a crazy neocon thug, ready to thrown down at the drop of a hat and was 72,and happened to believe the economy is great and we need twice the dose that Bush gave us?
  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
Get real. What was Bush, Busboy?
McCain will have to ask his Fundie friends what to do since he can't seem to make a decision.
  • dad · 1 year ago
you mean like when bush was told that osama bin laden planned to attack inside the U.S. and he did nothing?
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
McCain can't even stand up to Rove for god's sake. talk about a fucking flincher.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
OK, you can throw my post back in my face; when and if it proves wrong...
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
if McBush wins, and this scenario happens, we'll all be nuked to smithereens anyway. it won't matter.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
tls, you're such a pessimist! Maybe we'll 'bleep' their leaders and they'll go back to making foreign excange by selling pistachio nuts...
  • Webster · 1 year ago
Great. Sarah Schlafly Palin. Just what we need.
  • RandyH · 1 year ago
Well check out this article on Sarah Palin:

Alaskans Speak (In A Frightened Whisper): Palin Is “Racist, Sexist, Vindictive, And Mean”

    http://www.laprogressive.com/2008/09/05/alaskan...

"So Sambo [Obama] beat the Bitch [Clinton]" --- Palin's words after the Dem primaries.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
speaking of Sarah Palin's words, did you hear they had to put "new-clear" on the teleprompter so she'd pronouce "nuclear" correctly?

i'm surprised they didn't let that slide. GOPers dig than nookular talk.
no more dimwits, please, i'm begging now.
  • jixter · 1 year ago
Well .... if Palin won't talk freely to the press, why not turn her previous quotes into full-page newspaper ads? Way down below, "HereinDC" has the beginnings of a great idea. Why not 'brand' her before her p.r crew gets their ball rolling?

Oh, and by the way "An_American_Karol", you're referring to a "FlufferNutter" sandwich and it's a New England tradition, not just Maine's. It's white bread, peanut butter and Marshmallow Fluff - which is made in Massachusetts, I think. It's been around since the 1950's, at least, and isn't half bad - if you're an 8 year-old - or somebody who wants to be.

One question, Why is her daugther more than mine. My child had a child, but it's sinful. Her's is not.
