Did any of the Palin moutain cracker spawn attend Jesus Camp? Perhaps the daughter conceived at Jesus Camp.

There is a level of stupidity afoot in this country that I don't know how to properly address. You just can't reason with some people, it's a waste of time to try.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
    Geeze John A.
There is something every 20 minutes about this Palin.

    (typo feel )
  • FunMe · 1 year ago
There is something about Palin just like there is something about Mary.
    ;-)
  • scottinsf · 1 year ago
Can't you guys distribute all these scandals over a longer period of time? Let's stretch this out a bit.
  • FunMe · 1 year ago
Mrs. Scandalicious Palin has waaaaaaaaaay more scandals, believe me.

I keep hearing dueling banjos in my head....politcians wanting to drive my car downstream....

Wow...CNN reporting right now...McCain cancels interview with Larry King today/tonite
because they are upset with the CNN segment aired with Campbell Brown and Tucker interview.

McCain camp said the interview was over the line....Wolf saying CNN does not feel the interview was over the line.

McCAin was to have been on Larry King today ...to be aired tonite.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
again with the "that's over the line" to Wolf -

    shades of vice dick...
    no more of that shit.

    Campbell Brown was spot. on.
  • scottinsf · 1 year ago
    She was. I applaud her.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
Yeah...I thought Campbell was great in that inteview..

    She surprised me.
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
As I typed yesterday, I sent a congratulations email to her. Don't normally do that but I had a feeling that she might start getting beat up about this. I think we should all send notes to CNN and tell them THAT'S the kind of hard questions we want.
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
This is good. This will cause Campbell Brown to get over on the Obama camp. I've watched her, and for a long time she's banged Obama hard over the last year.. I have to say though, she grilled the poor fella mighty fine:) She's doing her job, and it was fascinating to watch the "Pleeb" sputter and falter when asked a direction question over and over. You can expect more of the same from her now.

    Count on it!
  • Indigo · 1 year ago
    That answers my question.
Why should I believe that someone with such extreme views respects the separation of church and state and would be able to respect, support and defend the Constituion of the United States of America?
I don't see how she can with such occult political jabberwocky flitting about between her ears.
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
Just wait t'il the press asks here point blank what her stance is on the subject.
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
And many Jews are questioning Rick Davis's pick for McCain now.
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
This gets more frightening every day.

It's time for all of us to learn about the Assemblies of God denomination. It makes the Southern Baptists seem like Volvo-driving, latte-sipping, Eggs Benedict brunch-eating, NPR-listening Liberals.
  • bluestockton · 1 year ago
Kerry IS a Catholic. The "man of God" already covered him.
  • sukabi1 · 1 year ago
Sounds like she belongs to a church that is more fringe, radical and hateful than ANYTHING that Rev. Wright said... Although I'm not holding my breath that she'll have to denounce her pastor... those are the same "values" that the Republican party and their media mouthpieces have been spewing for the last 8 years....
  • jcgraham77 · 1 year ago
Wow....Pentecostal. That is nuts. Don't find many of them in the leadership of our dear country. My grandparents were apostolic pentecostal. They spoke in tounges during the services, became annointed by the Holy Ghost (much like a possession), and handled serpents. Hmmmm. Doesn't seem real that she is a nomination for VP. It does explain her appearance...the hair, glasses, dress, and demeanor. If you are familiar with them you will understand...I knew something was familiar about her.
  • eliot99 · 1 year ago
I'll vouch for the fanaticism. My parents made me attend an Assembly of God church til I was 15. WOW!!! WAY, WAY out there. Speaking in tongues, dancing, sweating....really bizarre stuff. It's true, they make Baptists look like a knitting circle on Valium.
  • RonTunning · 1 year ago
Say what you want, but Gov. Sarah Palin clearly has the leadership capacity John McCain desires in a Vice President.

Good lord...voting for Kerry meant not getting into Heaven? Ah...kids....hate to tell ya this....eternal life goes like this....the central auditory nerve shuts down slowly at death and the brain goes through some sort of euphoria for about twenty minutes roughly. After that, you're fucking dead. Now get over it for krisesakes.
  • bob915 · 1 year ago
BQD, join me in a cosmo, like I said in a previous post, and lets watch the Dumpster fire together............................

    Wow!

I posted a Craigslist Ad saying I was a top in town for the RNC, and in the first 15 minutes I got 30 replies. Many are clearly locals, but some have been sent from personal accounts by guys saying they were there for the convention as well. I need to Google some names.....

Let us know if a guy looking like Todd Palin shows up at your door, hmm kay?
  • Rechan · 1 year ago
So Palin has her own Rev Wright. Let's see if the liberal media picks up on this one.
  • SouthernYankee · 1 year ago
How dare these bastard pass themselves off as christains. Bush sent soldiers to their deaths. How dare they.

If you are interested in learning more about the Assemblies of God read the posts here, http://dogemperor.dailykos.com/ written by a former captive. His posts about the influence they have in the military should scare your socks off. These are the people who think it is a good idea to have troops distribute Bibles in Iraq.
  • normanok · 1 year ago
I wonder what all the people who criticized Obama for Rev Wright will say

Funny thing. After I learned she was raised Pentacostal, I thought it would be fun asking her what she thought the Pope's role in world politics had been in the last decade. And what she thought the Vatican could contribute to world affairs.......And maybe even, what country and city house the Vatican (a little geography test).

Perhaps experience speaking in tongues constitutes skill development in foreign relations.

I know. This is mean, but she asked for it. Looking forward to Gwen Ifill moderating the VP debate.

PS a friend who speaks both ancient and modern Greek emailed today to say that "Palin" means "again" in Greek. John McCain has his Ditto Boland (for those of you not from Boston, he was the Curley sidekick in "The Last Hurrah".)

"During his appearance with Palin in June, he declared, "I believe Alaska is one of the refuge states in the last days, and hundreds of thousands of people are going to come to the state to seek refuge and the church has to be ready to minister to them."

Meh. Myself, I'd flee to Hawaii if the world is coming to an end. Or stay right here in Malibu.

Tell you the truth, when John Paul II said that about Kerry, I realized then that was one pope who was not going to heaven.
  • Wesinoregon · 1 year ago
I wish the media would say something about her faith like they did Obama. It would turn alot of the main stream religious off.
