McCain would like to be a "big hitter"; but he isn't. His wife files a separate tax return; which means that she kept her own assets separate from his when they were married. Probably a prudent move, since he was already a known cheater. Cindy may actually be the "brains" of the outfit.

Its just you. In the old days the VP wouldn't be announced until during the convention. Of course, to be fair, in the old days, the candidate would not be known for certain until the convention voting was settled.

thru all these dark years of republican control, sometimes all we had to cling to was the karmic ideal that a corrupt ideology would eventually self-destruct and its purveyors would pay for their evil. lately there have been several karmic stories like this corsi thing. payback may be too much to hope for, but it does seem we are finally witnessing the collapse of the rotting core of Reagan-Bush republicanism. you'll know the worst is over when the mass media start fearing progressives more than conservatives.

McCain and the repubs will say that, with every big fortune there lies a crime. And everybody will just take it as fact. There are people in this country that may not have dynasty size wealth but have real moral values that make you eighther a gentleman or not.

This is great. The fibber they've been pumping up as a courageous truth-teller for weeks is suddenly fibbing (I guess) in an inconvenient direction. Who knew that liars-for-hire had so little integrity?

Will the corporate media ignore him, or set the attack dogs on him? Either way, it makes Shun Sannity and the rightards lose credibility with whatever tiny fraction of their drooler audience actually has an attention span of more than a week.

Kick it up a notch, and let's see the media dig up quotes from the Repigs who claimed McCain was a 'Manchurian Candidate' in 2000. Hell, some of them are working for McCain today, so they won't have to look far. They're Repigs, so the corporate media whores are conditioned to reporting whatever they say without question.

That would piss off most of their donor base.

Well, this is delicious...Last night I had a discussion with my rabid conservative friend (Sunday nights are becoming less and less attractive) about where Obama got his money. Of course, my friend said Obama never had a job before he was the Illinois Senator and that he made his millions from the shady real estate partner of his. So now we have Meh-Cain going Obama one step further in trying to out-do that scandal. Meh-Cain is sooo desperate.
