OT, it looks like HRC CONSPIRED with the White House to delay the repeal of DADT.

Despicable. I don't know who is worse in all of this...the White House or the HRC.

Given what I've been reading lately, I believe that story completely.

The HRC is worse, we pay them to be on our side.

I just found an email from Joe Solomonese this morning asking me to be a "partner" with HRC. Translastion, of course: cough up some money. I'm trying to formulate a reply.

The language I would use is not appropriate for this site.

We've removed our equality stickers from our vehicles. They are thriving off of preventing our full civil rights. Total bullshit

    May I suggest a time-honored two-word reply?

Give the money to Corzine. At least he's actively for marriage equality.
  • SCLiberal · 7 months ago
Tell them you donated to the Green Party instead, where true equality is part of their platform.

In New York, the Working Families Party supports full equal rights for everyone, including gay couples.

Is this the one who's been missing since last Thursday?

    Oh, sorry...wrong Republican.
  • Bostonian_Queer_in_Dallas · 7 months ago
No no...he's been "hiking" with a male aide in the woods.

    Brokeback Mountain anyone?

Insert never get caught with 'dead girl or live boy' joke here.

If he were a Democrat, he would have been forced to resign by now.
  • vkobaya · 7 months ago
If he were a Democrat, he would be cooling his heels in prison like Spitzer.

Oh yeah! Almost forgot, they impeached Clinton.

Is it really best called a "romantic relationship" when one party signs the checks and the other is on at least two of his payrolls?

    Along with her husband?

    And their kid?

    Copulation in the economic mode.

The American Christian family values party colleagues welcome shady-dealing adulteror, Senator Ensign, with rousing cheers and a standing ovation. Welcome to the hypocracy club, John!

I have to wonder why any member of the Senate would be as tan as John Ensign? Obviously, he's been spending a lot of time indoors lately. Then, of course, there's John Boehner. Who knew that the climate in Ohio could produce such a bronzing effect? Really, the GOP is a clown circus!

This post REALLY makes me want to VOMIT! These GOPers are nothing more that 1950's thugs. No family values, here. No wonder they have so many sexual hangups!
  • nicho · 7 months ago
All part of their defense of traditional marriage, which for Republicans is between "one man, one woman, and any number of whores."
  • SCLiberal · 7 months ago
If the GOP types really want to preserve the "sanctity of marriage" all they have to do is outlaw divorce.

    <sound of clock ticking....>

Of course the GOP will applaud a colleague who gets caught in an affair with a woman that didn't take place in a restroom. Things are looking up for the GOP!!
