AMERICAblog: Sheeeeees baaaaaack! Lady Lynn de Redneck attacks McCain campaign for criticizing Sarah Palin

  • erick28 · 1 year ago
I hope that the dems and the grass roots organizations that made this election a success will not lay low. Palin and the dirty hate mongers are surely organizing now.

Didja ever wonder what the right wingers have been saying about Obama's election but were too afraid to go there and see for yourself?

Fear not, my fellow libs, for JP has taken many hits for the team.

    Palin/de Redneck 2012!

Ho ho! Top slot! I like what you did there...

    Careful, your misogyny is showing.

Off topic but must be said.

Apparently Lisa P. Jackson, commissioner of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) is in the running to head up the USEPA.

This is a really TERRIBLE idea. She ruined the NJDEP and is the wrong person to lead the EPA.

If you care about the environment, tell Obama to take her off of his list..

Lady Lynn needs attention. We haven't given her enough yet. If she were nice like Queen Nour, we'd probably be nice to her but she isn't nice. If she were a horsewoman like Betsy Windsor, we'd admire her stamina. But she isn't athletic so we don't care. If she were clever like Dorothy Kilgallen, we'd read her every word, but she isn't clever. Hopping from failed candidate to failed candidate, she's a grasshopper. Maybe she's a plague of locust. We could ask the Mormons to send sea gulls to devour her but that would be rude and Mormons are probably not in a mood to help us out anyhow. Poor Lady Lynn. She can't catch a break. T.D.B.

Anyone else ever notice that no matter what the context, when you see the name Palin, crazy is guaranteed to be lurking VERY nearby.

Who is this woman and why should we care what she thinks?
  • ron071 · 1 year ago
Why continue to dwell upon the likes of Rothchild, Lieberman and Palin? Surely we know all we need to know about these three.

I know, now that the election is over, we will all sit around, be hopeful and exchange recipes.

The lady moves fast - downhill.
Imagine with a name like Rotschild accusing Barack Obama to be elitist. I guess she couldn't openly admit that she is a racist, hence the ekitist cover up.

Lady La-De-Da can have the Palins over for a weekend sometime.

Well, if the Lady Lynn really wants to help out her dear party, I suppose she could pay off that little Neiman-Marcus bill her good friend Sarah ran up at the RNC's expense. I hear they're kind of strapped for cash right now.
  • Apphouse50 · 1 year ago
I'd bet my firstborn that Lady's portfolio includes some major holdings in The Neiman-Marcus Group and Saks Incorporated. These people do nothing that doesn't have a financial motivation.

Who gives a damn what this dame says? What is she besides somebody with a lot of money who got attention for throwing a hissy fit when the game didn't go her way?

She's nothing. She's a nobody, albeit a well heeled nobody. Why should we care what she has to say? What should an editor care what she has to say? Heaps of people all over the country are nobodies with loopy opinions no more relevant than yours or mine or anyone elses and none of them get a platform.

Except for this: the editors and the producers who keep going for the drama angle. And this blog is guilty of it too, in her case. She's a nobody. Giving her a thread here isn't going to change any minds. No one on AmericaBlog is going to consider rethinking our view of what this dame has to say. She's just good for business. And to me that is the shame about the discourse, because nobodies are getting a platform because they're good for business.

Same for Joe the Plumber, post election. Who gives a shit what he thinks? Whoever did? He was a fairground attraction during the vote and (arguably) deserved what attention he got when he became a prop for both sides. But he never had anything valuable to contribute to the debate. He was just packaged into an item because he was a freakshow.

So lets at least consider putting Lady Lynn and Joe the Plumber and any other two headed cow that offers nothing but distraction aside. Lets ignore them. We can't control Fox but we can control here. Lets focus on the substance instead of adding to credibility by volume by extending the platform they already have but in no way deserve.

    Rant over. Kind of.

Its called schadenfreude and we deserve it after eight long years of abuse.

...Maybe she was one of those "anonymous donors" who bought some of that booty for Palin's booty? She'd be pissed the 'media' went and made her return them so the Empress would have no new clothes also.
  • David_in_Toronto · 1 year ago
    She's just crazy.

Man, money can't buy brains, obviously.

Well, John. I DO NOT watch Fix News and would never have seen this if you hadn't posted it but now that you have I must comment:

I'm a strong feminist and Democrat who proudly campaigned and voted for Barack Obama and I think Lady Lynn has a point. Sarah Palin is not the reason John McCain lost the presidential race. He lost because he ran a REALLY BAD campaign; because he was NOT A GOOD CANDIDATE; because he didn't have a STRATEGY; because he committed a SEXIST act in selecting a vp running mate based on GENDER rather than qualifications.

And frankly I think the backstabbing going on within the McCain campaign staff is reprehensible. Sarah Palin is right that it is not professional. After all they chose her and put her forth as fully qualified to be VPOTUS and to be POTUS if need be. Now they're revealing that they either chose someone they knew was incompetent, or whom they did not vett at all. In either case, it's clear that John McCain assembled a group of unprofessional, sexist pigs to run his campaign and that's another reason why McCain was a BAD candidate. Finally, if JSM had any balls he's step up to the plate and demand that his campaign staff SHUT UP.
