I think at this point the "tactic" is just to have so many controversies swirling around the McCain campaign like buzzards that it numbs the electorate completely. It's the same logic as to why they released the news of Bristol Palins pregnancy during a hurricane, the idea is that if you have enough bad things going on, what's one more log on the fire.

That being said, I'm waiting for the REALLY nasty stuff to start coming out in the next couple of days, I predict it will happen if/when the next big Wall Street firm goes down.

Well, it's about time for the terrorists to make a "resurgence" to scare all the little lemmings into voting for the GOP again. I've stopped following the day-to-day stuff and just look at this as one big plan that the GOP has executed several times before. For the Dems to win we need to learn to look at the history, not just react to the present.

I'm suffocating in the aroma of "Willie Horton" redux, but I doubt if dems will have the balls to do it. With his resistance to the bill about educating kids about predators I'm starting to think that McCain is all about protecting supply for predators, keep them stupid before the crime and don't investigate the crimes afterward (Palin). I can so see this, the republican party probably has a huge predator base, (look at 400 million dollar man Limbaugh's jaunts off to southeast asia with his oxy and viagra) and Palin seems so borderline (comes through in those e-mails too, so much manipulation in there) and female borderlines use, abuse, and manipulate men by trading on their looks, it's how they get by in life since they don't have a normal functioning conscience to impede them.

I'm thinking there's a bigger connection between Ms. Palin's church and charging rape victims for rape kits, and her firing Monegan for seeking funds to go after child predators....

If it was just their stance on when conception begins, that would explain (in a sick, twisted way) their position on the "morning after pill"... but not the actual rape investigation / kit ... but once children get brought into the equation and there is an effort to prevent law enforcement from fully doing it's job by getting resources to help investigate /. educate / ect.... that is something else entirely...

There is something seriously wrong in that community... an I'll bet their church is at the middle of it...
