The Democrats need to fund some 527s that attack the McCain and GOP to peel away their core voters. The 527s cannot be attached to the Democrats but should support their overall messages. The 527s should say the most outlandish and hurtful things some bright strategic mind could come up with. That is what is needed on the democratic side to win this election.

Bush spinning the media again to launch war with Iran. A former Bush policy advisor, Michael Green, wrote a thesis positing: the Iraq war strengthens America in Asia and hasn't hurt America in Europe, since Italy, France and Germany elected neocon leaders in their respective recent elections. Now the right-wing blogs are using this "report" to confuse the public into thinking that another war won't be so bad.
Speaking of spinning the news, I noticed that no one challenged Bush at his news conference yesterday (Friday) when he announced that, thanks to early action, the slowing in the economy has been addressed. The refunds are in the mail and the billions of dollars that will be poured into tax payers' hands will quickly bail out the sagging economy. Othankheaven!
