Is Mrs. Greenspan breathless? Has Tweety's leg gone totally numb?? Oh, and I take it we're not talking about the Star Trek Convention this August in Las Vegas??? http://www.creationent.com/cal/stlv.htm

i dont know anymore, this woman seems to be capable of anything now.over at taylor marsh they are talking about winning the popular vote and getting all the supers to switch over at the convention. this woman needs to be the president, i guess to cover for bush's crimes. obama will not be in on the plan and bush will get some jail. i really want to know HOW HILLARY KNOWS SOMETHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO OBAMA!!!

I love the thought that yesterday was the straw that broke the Camel's back but everything we know about Hillary points to a pathological quest for power. She needs to be driven out of Dodge naked in a thunderstorm.

The crazy folks on the pink Web site have outdone themselves today:
Stalinism is alive.
Because Obama is running for president we are not to recognize historical facts. Millions voted in Florida and Michigan, but they are to be wiped off the pages of history. Robert Kennedy was slaughtered on a June day. That historical fact too will be wiped off the pages of history. The Bush v. Gore battles and the stolen election of 2000 - never accepted by Big Media, will be wiped off the pages of history too. The importance of West Virginia and Kentucy will be wiped off the historical record too. Puerto Rico is to be wiped off the historical record as well.
DailyKooks and Arriana Huff n’ Puff and Talking Pimps Memo will all assist in the Stalinist “cleansing” of history.

Yes and add to the fact that hillary meets the criteria for 8 or 9 elements for Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Everyone has a few symptoms but, in hillary's case, she meets alot of them! In this latest flap, she seems oblivious to the affect of her words on others. She never even apologized to Obama, yet. Remember her Bosnia story that she repeated 3 or 4 times; she said 'I made a mistake'. Huh? I think she meant 'I made in mistake in lying about this so many times'. Anyway, a shot of thorazine and a straightjacket should take care of her. My good, Powers was right, SHE IS A MONSTER!
Bush_Bites

Yeah, she can't even apologize without lying.
She said the "Kennedy's have been much on my mind lately," even though she talked about the RFK assassination in earlier interviews too.

She will never exit gracefully. Some security type will have to remove her from the floor kicking, biting and screaming in full histionics while Bill and chelsea pound on the cops. I hope she gets the Homer Stokes (starting about 1:30 in) treatment for most certainly aint' her constinuency: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Q3eTSbC3neA

As you said before the body speaks its mind. It is clear how she feels about unity.

Guess her chance at VP is gone now! After her 'gun' ad pointing at Obama, and now talking about RFK.

The Clintons seem like thugs to me. They fight dirty, lie, and will take the whole party down with them, if they can't win the nomination. The ex President and his wife have lost all credibility and self respect. They have aped the Karl Rove dirty campaign tactics of 2000, and Democrats should condemn them for this.
Just imagine the outrage if Obama had made this unforgivable statement about assassinations. The usually gaffe-less Hillary, has made the biggest blunder in her campaign.

These Clinton's and the laundry - it was a dirty Blue Dress that took Bill down and it appears that an even dirtier Freudian Slip is takin Hill down.

"Tuesday is the day..." Are there any Americabloggers out there in Americablogland feeling like I do today: unable to focus, dazed, angry, sorrowful? (I haven't felt like this since 9/11). Perhaps things will work out OK, but the lack of swift resolution for what should be resolved quickly to stanch the bleeding fills me with a kind of anxious dread. Since 2000, I had (foolishly, in retrospect) held up the Clintons as positive political figures for some kind of yardstick to get a better measure of the depths of the amoral and depraved Bush-Cheney regime. Tuesday seems like an eternity: will the long holiday weekend enable HRC to ride out the controversy without any real consequence? Especially since the MSM is narrating this event as a Clinton "apology" for a mere "gaffe" and refusing to consider the dreadful implications of it?

It's a gut punch, but I also have faith in the strategies of the the Obama camp. Will things ever change? I don't know. I read Dennis Perrin everyday and somedays his reality makes me want to just get up and move to Ireland! Then I come here and the humor brightens my day. Well, that's my 2 cents--hang in there!.

I know my keyboard is pretty hot from all the responses I've been making to the Hillbots since last night. I'm in the same mental space as you, given my years of defending Hill and bashing her detractors. Don't think it hasn't been humilating to have the same people I've spent years bashing due to their negative Clinton stance now reading my bashing of the Hillbots. I've always heard humility is good for the soul?
What a difference a few months make!

I never thought I would consider this, but could Rush Limbaugh have been right all along? He predicted the Democratic Convention would be wrought with protests and infighting. It looks like we are headed that direction. I know the African-American community is FURIOUS with the Clintons for their racist attacks. We will not be pushed back to second-class citizenship by some phony white bi*ch. There are going to be huge rallies to oppose the bigoted and vile politics of the corrupt Clintons. We need to support Obama's campaign of inclusion and unity by taking a stand against vile monsters like the Clintons.

I think the Obama campaign knows what it's doing; give Hillary enough rope to hang herself, which is pretty much what's happening. The super-delegates are being polite but they can't be at all happy, first with the white hard working voters comment, then comparing the primary to Zimbabwe. I don't think this going to go on much longer than after the last primary. They'll give her another chance for a dignified exit, but that's it.
mirth
Referring to Hillary as a "white bitch" sorta defeats Obama's campaign message of inclusion, doncha think? Feeding into "the bigoted and vile politics of the corrupt Clintons" is not what Obama and his promise are about.
And, no, Limbaugh has never been right.

If Hillary had the brilliant political instincts that everyone says she has, she would: 1.) never have said what she said. 2.) known instantly upon having said what she said that if was political suicide and immediately apologized and retracted, explained what she meant and apologized there on the spot. 3.) have never let it get this far, 4.) cancel her campaign and resign her senate seat in the event that A.) she said what she said, B.) didn't correct herself and cut the damage immediately C.) it got this far. She's been vastly overpraised her entire political career and is where she is because she hooked her star to a man with really brilliant instincts, albeit, faded now and diminished by his acute jadedness.

I came of age during the 80's and the 90's. They were wonderful but also very dark times, the dead body of Vietnam was still rotting in America's basement and its oder clung to everything. So did the heart break and disillusionment of the assassinations of MLK JFK RFK Malcolm X, and John Lennon to name a few. On top of that the conservatives also felt intense disillusionment over the end of apartheid in America and the rise of the "Third World" abroad. They sought relief in among other things the newly christened "War on Drugs." When they were victorious with their November surprise they rapidly started taking revenge in in the form of destroying the middle class. It was in this environment that Bill Clinton entered the scene. He was a gasp of oxygen for that part of our country that wasn't yet unconsciouses from being strangled to death. I think this is why it is such a punch in the stomach to see Hillary acting the way she is, why some just can't quit her, and why the rest of us feel so intensely disgusted with her. I just hope the Super delegates can get their heads out of their asses. (why the fuck don't we have direct democracy!) If this thing goes to the convention, it will just increase the likely hood for chaos. I don't doubt that "brooks brother rioters" and ditto heads will show up and start trouble, and if it gets out of hand we could loose this election. Fro Hillary, it's either a back room deal, or riots at the convention, thats the only way she can either get the nomination this time around, or possibly get it next time around.

Puzzling has been RFK, Jr's support of Clinton and then his defense of her yesterday.
He has said: “While communism is the control of business by government, fascism is the control of government by business. …The biggest threat to American democracy is corporate power. …our most visionary political leaders have warned the American public against the domination of government by corporate power. That warning is missing in the national debate right now. Because so much corporate money is going into politics, the Democratic Party itself has dropped the ball. They just quash discussion about the corrosive impact of excessive corporate power on American democracy.”
And then, in announcing his support for her campaign, he said that he was "very comfortable" about the amount of corporate money flowing into Clinton’s campaign. “But I also think you can’t come into this race with one arm tied behind your back.”
About this, Joel S. Hirschhorn of Dissident Voice, wrote:
"Kennedy’s endorsement of Hillary just shows how the status quo political establishment can rig the system to get what it wants. What has Bobby been promised? Head of the US EPA? Support for replacing Hillary in the Senate? Who knows? But his endorsement stinks and puts a big blemish on his credibility and reputation."
Of note is RFK, Jr's statement that should Hillary be elected prez, he would most likely run for her Senate seat.

RFK, Jr. sold his soul. It cannot be retrieved. As the old knight in the Indiana Jones - Last Crusade stated: "He chose poorly". He can help Hillary in shining Obama's shoes for four years.

To me, tbhull, RFK, Jr represents the divisions in the Democratic Party, ushered in largely by the Clintons and their "Centrist" DLC crap, and he also illustrates that talk is cheap...say the right words, but mean them only if one's career path or one's fortune or one's elitist privileges aren't impinged. RFK, Jr is also anti-abortion rights and he's for wind power as a source of energy, but not in his backyard. These are only two of the disturbing things I recently learned about this son who has, imo, sullied his father's noble legacy.
