The son of a good friend, who returned from THREE tours in Iraq, took his own life last week. He desperately needed medical attention, psychiatric attention, and he went though hell with the VA. As if he was shit on their shoes. The mom desperately tried to get help from her Congressman and our two Texas Senators who basically sent out form letters with TOTAL BULLSHIT about supporting the troops. She nearly lost her job trying desperately to find help from our wonderful fucking government. Nothing. They could not afford a shrink because their medical insurance is piss poor via Cobra.
Proud America? Proud that you re-elected this little shithead twice? Proud that you call McCain a real American?
We can hang our heads in shame for this shit. Thank you so very fucking Karl Rove for all you've done to serve your nation.

MUCH more important today from Breakfast Chitchat on 24/7 Cable News: "Why won't Obama visit those wounded, brave troops in Germany? Isn't he disrespecting them? Oh, the Army wouldn't sign off on Obama's itinerary because it would be politicizing the wounded, brave troops to allow him to visit them? . . . Why does Obama hate the troops by wanting to use them as a campaign prop? Isn't he disrespecting them?..."

The MSM corporate heads are getting freaked because it is looking more and more like a total debacle for the GOP coming on. They are going to twist, lie, spin and do ANYTHING to get McSame elected. It won't work. The country is a mess from top to bottom and people are now looking for hope. McSame cannot offer anything but spin and whining.

More bread and circus this morning....Cspan3 at 10am ET...Conyers committee hearing on abuse of Exec Branch Power...but nobody is allowed to mention IMPEACHMENT....or WHO should be charged with what.

When are the naive, brainwashed going to get it? The Rethugs pretend to be this party that looks after the American people, and fight for them. The reality is, they use our poor troops to fight their oil wars, and then don't give a damn about them when they return. How many bills have McPain and Bush been against, when it was to benefit our vets? Our poor vets have been abused and not given the help that they DESERVE. Shame on these war mongers for not supporting our troops.

Supporting the troops goes both ways: Let's face the facts, Obama cancelled a scheduled trip to visit a base in Germany where our troops that have been wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan are being sent. He went shopping instead.

The IRONY is that McCain is a veteran who voted AGAINST the recently revised GI Bill and is a Social Security recipient who calls Social Security a " DISGRACE". He will retain his VA and Congressional medical insurance but wants to eliminate employer-sponsored medical plans. IS IT IRONY or simply HYPOCRISY?
