Another ho-hum Sunday, eh? You can bet no issues will be discussed...it's all ego tripping today. And Crocker will talk about how "fabulous" things are going in Iraq...you know, the Iraqi Army is re-constituted and very "effective" in helping to ensure American dominance for the long haul.

I didn't see my little black and orange Halloween cat last night. Didn't want to get her out wherever she was out in the rain.

Reading about the big celebrations in San Francisco for Pride. Congratualtions to my gay bros and bras there and the rest of the Great State of California. We're getting there. We in the rest of the country share your happiness.

I'd be watching ABC. If Rahm's on we might get some idea of what Israel expects/demands from America. Not that any of you have the balls to oppose whatever it may be.

Some asshole on another blog said that it was a crappy movie because people are standing around watching toxic alien spacecraft burning. It's called "suspension of belief," you worthless boring pop-culturalist asswipe.

When will the media start talking about McCriminal's wealth like they did about Edwards.
Last week, the Center for American Progress Action Fund released a new report by Michael Ettlinger estimating that under McCain's tax plan, he and his wife, Cindy, would save $373,429. That's nearly $400,000 -- per year, not over the course of their lifetimes. (Under Barack Obama's plan, the McCains would save less than $6,000. The Obamas would save nearly $50,000 under McCain's plan, and slightly more than $6,000 under Obama's plan own plan.)
They give the man a pass on everything. Does anyone else suspect that the media want ol McTorture elected President.

Louisiana's Governor Bobby Jindal signed Senate Bill 733 into law, 27 years after the state passed its Balance Treatment for Evolution-Science and Creation-Science Act ... Jindal's approval of the bill was buried in a press release issued on June 25, 2008 ...Houma Today reports (June 27, 2008) that the bill "will empower educators to pull religious beliefs into topics like evolution, cloning and global warming by introducing supplemental materials."
Evolution is no more scientifically controversial than gravity, and Governor Jindal surely knows that -- he graduated from Brown University with honors in biology. His own biology professor reminded him recently that "Without evolution, modern biology, including medicine and biotechnology, wouldn't make sense. In order for today's students in Louisiana to succeed in college and beyond, ... they need a solid grounding in genetics and evolution."
Man, I tried everything I could prior to the election. You just can't reach people with facts anymore. Jindal has been a disaster in everything he's ever run. Didn't matter. It's a sore subject to me. Really broke my heart about my beloved state after that. Ended some family relationships. It's been really bad. I just will no longer accept some family members. I told them the rest of the country was going democratic and you're going to elect a walking, talking fundamentalist republican talking point? How is that going to help our state. We need help after Katrina. Did. Not. Matter. Nothing matters with anything, I guess. Now, everybody thinks we're idiots, and I don't blame them. And the idiots on the local message boards; these people vote. They're the dumbest on the planet and the most vocal. Screaming Dumb Worthless Republican Wingnut Asshole Central. Consider that Louisiana from now on. I wont even bother defending the place anymore.

I lived in Tennessee for a couple of years, so I know what's it's like to be among the Fundies.
