AMERICAblog: Superdelegate brother of top Clinton adviser, himself a Hillary supporter, says candidate behind in delegates should drop out before June 3

Oh the damage another month of Hillary can do.

IT IS OVER, other than Hillary's cynical attempt to thwart the will of the people. And IT IS TIME to throw THE BUM OUT.

why would Hillary drop out before the convention? Her goal of electing John McCain is getting closer every day.

The murky loser miasma surrounding Team Billary suggests a lingering river fog moments before a rising sun from Illinois and a changed morning in America...

June 3 is way too late. I suppose it is after the last primary, but that doesn't signify because she isn't going to get the nomination no matter what. That gives her another 6 weeks to continue destroying Obama and the Democratic Party.

My question is, what do the "inside the Beltway" Dem superdelegates know?

    They do talk among themselves...

If Hillary really thinks there's a chance of something coming out about Obama that will make him unelectable, she should just "suspend" her campaign after Pennsylvania and wait and see.

If nothing happens, he'll get the nomination, which he'll get anyway if nothing happens.

If something happens, she can rush in and be the hero.

Hell, Mitt's still sitting back waiting for McCain's next Melanoma to appear.

Chris Matthews is on with Greenspan's wife talking about how amazed he is with the newest polls showing only six points between Hillary and Obama. Matthews is saying he doesn't believe the poll. Of course, he has been whipping the dead "bitter voter" horse since it broke. Mr. $5 million dollars a year wants more tax cuts!

Here is a comment taken from yesterday's Countdown. You will be surprised at the end of the comment to see who said it.

If Obama's the nominee, the politician was asked, do you think he's un-electable. "No," he replied. "I believe he has a real good chance to carry Pennsylvania, I just believe that Sen. Clinton would carry it far more easily." Are the "bitter" remarks going to decide the primary there? "I think it'll cost a couple of points at the margin, but it's not a sea change. Who knows, by the time November rolls around, I think this comment will be long forgotten." All of that said tonight by... Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell... who, if not Senator Clinton's strongest supporter this primary season, has certainly been her loudest. His remarks tonight perhaps signalling that even the Clinton campaign is giving up trying to turn the Obama comments into a forest fire.

I'm still upset with Edwards dropping out. He could have pulled enough support from Hillary to have caused her to drop out by now. I was an Edwards supporter, though, and would have liked him as President.

McCrazy on Tweety's "college tour" show this afternoon. I hope he hangs himself.

cowboy, as the putative "progressive" Edwards had my vote, but I'm just amazed that he hasn't endorsed anyone yet.

    Were we conned?
  • Mike_H · 1 year ago
OlderAndWiser, I suspect that Edwards hasn't seen anything substantially progressive from either Obama or Clinton, at least not enough to swing him to one or the other.

But doesn't Barney realize that Obama is elitist (code for "uppity"), a Marxist, and is guaranteed to lose against American Heero John McCain? Stay in, Hillary, stay in! You just keep knockin' back them boilermakers, huntin' and psalm-singin', and you'll convert all the Supers by default!

What Hillary Clinton is doing TO this country is abominable. She's deliberately delaying an inevitable process that should have been long over in February! Every day she stays she causes more animosity and confusion. She fully well understands Obama is winning, yet she remains to dirty and bloody him as much as possible.

And yet she considers herself 'fit' to be president.
