Michelle is the best. It actually feels like I have representatives, you know, actually representing me. Like it's supposed to be. For the last 8 years and actually longer, it's just they've been doing these things there in Washington doing their own thing, mostly for the tiny minority of fundies and assorted crazies and corportists, that has nothing to do with me and the majority of the people here. It's a different feeling now.

I have been supporting the troops all this time and didn't know it. Where do I get one of those "golfing for the troops" ribbons?

The most important point to make about Bush's golf statement is it was a fine metaphor for ANYTHING Bush has said about the war. It was strictly PROPAGANDA to say he had stopped golfing. Sure, it was inappropriate to even count that as a "sacrifice." But it was quickly pointed out, it was a bald faced lie and that he had, indeed, been golfing when he said he hadn't. Insult to injury, and Republican Propaganda at its finest.
As Scott McClellan belatedly told the public, Bush doesn't know the difference between his propaganda and the truth.

Bush's hypocrisy is simply disgusting. Hell isn't hot enough to punish Bush for all the war crimes of his administration.

You know, every one of these "heros" looks young enough and certainly healthy enough to serve their country where they would do the most for it. If these three are the finest America can offer, We are done as a country. They were disgusting and reminded me of Cheney's response why he never served his country during the Vietnam Conflict. " I had more important things to do," or was it " I had better things to do." It is right up there with his one word answer when told that over 80% of the country was against the war and he said, "So?" . . . These guys are future Cheneys and make me embarrassed for my country and its future.

Right on. Talk about disgusting ! Too bad we don't have the draft, so these guys could be sent to Iraq.

Like the awe inspiring 101st Fighting Keyboard Command before them, I believe the 80th Airborne Golf Brigade cannot be far behind after seeing this video. We are golfing over here so....whatever.

He should just send his own twins to Iraq that is the only way for him to feel for the parents of soldiers only then I'm OK with him not golfing.
