Would love to see Rove appearing on FOX news from a jail cell. Meanwhile, you will love the latest Obama ad:

  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Yeah, I like that ad alot.

Shows how ridiculous the charge is, then ATTACKS McSenile for his policies, and ties it all up by pushing the McBush meme.

Is Gov. Seligman the one the Republicans tried to put in jail?

Thanks for reporting on the doings in Denver.
  • martha · 1 year ago
    tried too? they did!

If obama wants to score big cred, he should point out that there is nothing as important in a democracy as protesting and protesters should be treated with honor and respect. As opposed to how republicans and other famous facists like to treat them (and strive to paint them):

    Jean Carnahan reads this?

Gee, mam, please excuse my language from time to time.

Way to kick Ashcroft's ass, by the way.
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
    Ditto... I feel dirty.

    and thanks :-)
  • Steve_in_CNJ · 1 year ago
she didn't say she read the comments.
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
    oh... well fuck it then.

    :-)

    lol

I remember one time last year, I was on mydd, and Elizabeth Edwards started commenting.

(At least I think it was her--it used Elizabeth Edwards as the screen name and it certainly made comments you would think she'd make.)

I immediately started going into the online equivalent of an Eddie Haskell impression.

I had the honor of meeting Ms. Carnahan in Washington, DC. I did opposition research against John Ashcroft at "People for American Way" when I lived in D.C. I went through all those depositions and actually found some stuff that was used in questions against him during his confirmation hearings... wished all the reseach could have been enough to sink him. It was just ridiculous how that man used his State Attorney General Office to campaign for political office.

If you are reading this, Ms. Carnahan, I've been a HUGE fan of yours before and even more so after meeting you.

When I see all those bloggers in the pictures -young people compared to me- I have hope that many things can change. YES WE CAN.
  • mweholt · 1 year ago
Oh, man, anybody watching MSNBC? Olbermann just told Scarborough to "get a shovel" for all the bull crap he was shoveling about the Republicans being fired up and the Democrats being in disarray. It was hilarious! Live TV!
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    It was pretty tense.

If those guys were sitting together, they would have really got in each other faces.
  • mweholt · 1 year ago
No lie. The whole set seemed discombulated. Matthews was like... "Are we done?? What the hell is going on?"

It was beautiful... I await the repercussions...
  • devis1 · 1 year ago
Thanks, missed that but DVR's are a wonderful thing. Boy poor Matthews--his face was so red trying to sum up and go to commercial!!

I have some advice for the McCrazy camp. If they are in such love with Hillary Clinton then why haven't they asked her to be part of his ticket? I mean, Hillary used to be a Republican. They need to put up or shut up with the whole, "Waaaahhhh! Hillary got millions of votes! Hillary should be on the ticket!" nonsense!
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
OT: Cindy McCain on her way to Georgia (the country)??? WTF??? The McSame camp says this will show what kind of First Lady she would be. HUH? Didn't they savage Hillary for involving herself in politics?

They'll stoop to anything won't they?

Go for it Cindy, it can't possibly end well....
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
"Its On!" Democrats need to CRASH the Republican convention like they are doing ours. The GLOVES need to come off. The Obama signs need to come out and we need to interrupt their convention in the same why they are trying to mess up ours. They want to play dirty then lets bloody some noses. We can't afford another four years of Bu$hco.

by the way, the weather prayers didn't work so well:

    Thursday and Thursday Night:
Mostly clear. Highs in the mid 80s. Lows in the mid 50s.

    (source: weather underground).
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
now, hopefully it'll rain like hell an hour before the repug convention.

    :-)
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    I'm watching MSNBC.

    What do you know?

Luke Russert's polling analysis is just as lame as his old man's was.
  • devis1 · 1 year ago
It's kind of sad. I'm sure the NBC 'family' really loves the kid but they risk making him the new fool of the coverage team.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Yeah, they should have started him out at an affiliate in a small market where he belongs.

The kid just graduated and they got him covering a national convention.
  • martha · 1 year ago
Gosh, I was thinking the same thing. It is so sad.
  • mirth · 1 year ago
Pelosi is on now, telling us about the great accomplishments of the 110th congress.

I wish she would be booed off the stage.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
    Mirth, are you going mean?
  • mweholt · 1 year ago
Good old Rachel Maddow... she reports that the dopey Clinton delegate who just did the McCain ad was asked at a news conference, "You say you are a pro-choice Democrat. How can you support John McCain?"

Turns out she thought McCain was pro-choice.

    Doh!

I see a lot a mileage to be gotten out of this... useful for educating other Clinton supporters who want to vote for McCain that they would have to be out of their minds to vote for him or to even stay home on election day.
