The most interesting aspect of this interview was Lemieux and his very odd affect, like he thinks this is really a scam so Crist can be VP for Gramps McCain's failing candidacy. He says Charlie "enjoys" his fiancee, doesn't mention that he is in love with her. People "enjoy" hamburgers, football games, their vibrators, Disney World, etc. Isn't the operative word for marriage supposed to be "love?" I wonder if GOP eunuch Lindsey Don't-Ask-Don't Tell Graham is going to be maid-of-honor? This isn't going to kill the Brokeback Governor rumors but will draw more speculation about Crist's matrimonial motivation and election-year timing. I am gay and I have no problem with allegations and rumors about Crist's same-sex attraction. I do loathe Republican use of a governor's mansion as a huge walk-in closet. Florida, the same great state that gave us Congressman Mark Foley...

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Disney was blasted by the National Rifle Association after the company declared its property exempt from a new state law that allows Floridians to bring guns to work.
Before the law went into effect this week, Walt Disney World e-mailed its employees and said because it stores huge amounts of fireworks on the property, they are exempt.
The e-mail said the company does not have to let workers with concealed weapons keep the guns locked in their cars, Local 6 reported.
The NRA responded to Disney on its Web site.
"Disney is a prime offender when it comes to firing employees for exercising Second Amendment rights. There has never been any intention to exempt any part of Disney from the new law. We thought you'd like to see such arrogance," the NRA statement said.
There is an exemption in the new law for companies with explosives permits.
However, Republican leaders said they never intended to exempt Disney -- which is Florida's largest private employer.

“People yelled at them, ‘You’re shooting children,’” Parker said during an interview on the network’s “Rule of Law Show.”
I am annoyed about Webb taking himself out of contention.

I don't get all the Charlie bashing on here. He is a nice guy--maybe I am missing something. I have been around him several times and had a girlfriend who "went home" with him regularly when we were out on the town in St. Pete. Some of you are reminding me of the kids in elementary school who were accusing me of being gay before I even knew what the hell it meant. He isn't anti gay--quite the opposite. He is very supportive of his gay friends and is pro civil union. He is very left for a republican. I wish there were more like him and we wouldn't be in this mess.
