More about the Yule Goat
The US is a WAR CRIMINAL in this respect, and sadly, apparently, above accountability.
I am disgusted to be an american at this point.
I read a story about this. Iraqi moms don't ask if its a girl or a boy anymore, they ask the ob-gyn if there's something wrong with it. The mutations have already started.
The US has become a rogue nation. We torture and murder and rape and poison.
Cheney/bush have employed complete scorched policy, sadly, unrecoverable. no one can fix this.
About:
"Alive in Baghdad employs Iraqi journalists to produce video packages each week about a variety of topics on daily life in Iraq. Through the work of a team of Americans and Iraqi correspondents on the ground, Alive in Baghdad shows the conflict through the voices of Iraqis. Alive in Baghdad brings testimonies from individual Iraqis, footage of daily life in Iraq, and short news segments from Iraq to you.
Alive in Baghdad is a project of Small World News Ltd. Co. We have three production teams, in Iraq, Syria, and Mexico, for our two news programs, Alive in Baghdad and Alive in Mexico. Our camera-operators are available for a negotiable freelance day-rate. Previously we have produced work for Sky News and BBC NewsNight."
On April 21, 2008, OpEdNews reported that an internal email from Gen. Michael J. Kussman, undersecretary for health at the Veterans Administration, to Ira Katz, head of mental health at the VA, confirms a McClatchy Newspaper report that 126 veterans per week commit suicide. To the extent that the suicides are attributable to the war, more than 500 deaths should be added to the reported combat fatalities each month.
Turning to Iraqi deaths, expert studies support as many as 1.2 million dead Iraqis, almost entirely civilians. Another 2 million Iraqis have fled their country, and there are 2 million displaced Iraqis within Iraq.
Afghan casualties are unknown.
Both Afghanistan and Iraq have suffered unconscionable civilian deaths and damage to housing, infrastructure and environment. Iraq is afflicted with depleted uranium and open sewers.
