AMERICAblog: The Republicans' favorite European, French President Sarkozy, is now an Obama man

A French endorsement of Obama is a positive??? What an incredible statement. That is truly "alternate reality" alive and well in the US of A.

as demonstrated in your continued patronage of Americablog.

I love it when you visit Paris. Your photographs are outstanding.
And I do see a French endorsement of Obama as a positive. I see it as yet another ringing endorsement that the world is looking for us to become the true leaders that we once were. Back in the olden days before the BushCo regime destroyed everything we stood for.

Just when you thought weird wasn't weird enough? Along comes thecityedition and claims that Obama's candidacy is KKKarl Rove's invention. If you're a progressive; this will scare the poot out of you:
i think he's feeling peevish because his man, McLoser is going down the toilet...and he comes here to take it out on us. sheesh.

I don't care if it's a postive or not. I just like the sound of wingnut heads exploding.

they'll just dig up France's oppostition to Iraq again... remember when FRENCH fries changed to FREEDOM fries?
they'll just do it again.

McSame has turned into the cranky old man down the street yelling at kids to get off of his lawn. My favorite part of this week was seeing the split screen of Obama w/ 200,000 in the crowd against McSame standing in front of a cheese aisle at Winn Dixie or something. That and the golf cart photo op.
This is powerful imagery, and you will see it reflected midweek next week in a bounce in the polls for Obama.
McSame is so out of touch, he is beginning to look like Dukakis in the tank.

I think the international show of support is wonderful, even if it backfires with a few voters. If Obama wins, I'll finally be able to quit saying "I'm sorry" every time I introduce myself as an American overseas . . .

Not sure how a back fire is possible, McSame dared Obama to go there. Perhaps McCain is a double agent.......actually working for the Democrats.

Most Americans I know that travel to Europe call themselves Canadians while there.

I've thought about doing that, but if I got caught lying, it would only reinforce the stereotype . . . Actually, as long as you make it clear that you didn't vote for Bush, people will still talk to you.

Just act like you don't understand a word of English.

That doesn't work... Europeans, unlike most Americans, seem to know more than one language.
so they'll just keep quizzing you in different languages.

Ho-hum, just another day of international endorsements for Obama, while McCain is sent to clean up the gop mess in aisle 6.

Its a double-cross! Low-information voters still are iffy with France. Watch the GOP, tag Obama as elitist like Kerry for liking the French. Sarkozy won't even mind, because he's also a neocon, and will take one for the cabal.
Prove me wrong, people...... ;-)

McCain met the Dalai Lama. Hagee and Dobson won't be happy with this offence to Gawd! ;-)

Oh well.
There goes the Repubs' brief love affair with a French president.
Apparently, he may be slightly conservative, but he's no hillbilly.

Ouch!

OT: Mrs. Sarkozy, aka Carla Bruni's new album just hit #1 on the French pop charts.
