"I may not answer the question the way that you or the moderator may like . . . ." In my country we call that "evasiveness." At least we used to.

You know, i'd like to think someday we'l find out the story of how palin was chosen for VP. Who's strategy was it? Who came up with this "genious" move? Because i think its safe to say it wasnt mccain.

Hey FOX!
Nice product placement pimping for Budweiser - - - a Cindy McCain revenue stream (much needed to support all those homes).

Fox News...cough, cough, ahem....analysis
BARNES: He's better qualified than she is by a longshot, but, she's not going to have to be president right away, we hope, let's pray. Uh, and so is she capable of learning? Sure. Does she connect with average people? Absolutely. And I think that he tends towards senate-speak.
KONDRACKE: One other thing though, when she's at her best, she's in a good mood. She was obviously in a good mood tonight.
HUME: Yes, she did seem happy to be there and cheerful. And it didn't hurt...
KONDRACKE: When she's a little chirpy
HUME: ... that, look, Joe Biden, he looks kinda like me. He's getting on in years. She's younger.
KRISTOL: You do an injustice to yourself there.
BARNES: It helps to be in a good mood.
HUME: It also helps to be physically attractive, which she certainly is. I'm not saying he's not but she's more so and everybody can agree on that point.

Palin's final quote was from Ronald Reagan, warning that without vigilance, "you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children, and our children's children, what it once was like in America when men were free." In fact, Reagan was not warning about a general lack of vigilance about freedom, he was warning what would happen if Medicare was enacted.
So, Palin came out against Medicare tonight?

FOX News (Aaron Bruns): Palin calls the supreme NATO commander in Afghanistan, Gen David McKiernan, “McClellan.” Does it twice.
Then she's not totally uneducated. Seems she knows something about the civil war (maybe from watching Ken Burns at one time).

Even the poll at Faux Noise's Election HQ shows that Biden beat Palin by a fairly large margin! You can still go there and vote if you want...
