It is hilarious. About the fruitfly dust-up my daughter who is working on her Doctorate in Research Biology wrote to me: "Good god, the woman is ignorant. Do you know how many weeks I spent in my developmental biology class learning about fruit flies? And guess what, /all/ of that information I have learned from the fruit fly has helped me in understanding more complicated things. Ms. Palin better not be told about worms next... it probably wouldn't matter to her how many Nobel prizes were awarded for advances in understanding c. elegans. But, if you have a woman who doesn't believe in evolution, I suppose it makes sense that she wouldn't believe that understanding of human disease might be made easier by understanding simpler creatures like fruit flies, because apparently the two have never ever been related if you ask her. I actually kinda hope the comment was made in ignorance, but the whole creationism thing that she has espoused doesn't bode well in analyzing the motivation behind the comment."

i saw cindy mccain on tv yesterday -- looking like a drug addicted whore- girls, we must do better in a 1st lady. she is more frightening than laura bush - who was the biggest turd we have seen in the white house in decades. cindy - stay home and do percocet's all day.
i hope the republican blame game gets messy!!!!
