AMERICAblog: The world according to McCain: Georgia is "the first, probably, serious crisis internationally since the end of the cold war"

Randy Scheunemann told him to say this--and, of course, the MSM eats it up with a big spoon.

If you can't remember longer than one week back, I guess you could say that.

At least Bush waited to get into office before he started hyping international conflicts for political gain.

He knows better, perhaps. I think he's just trying to play this up for all it's worth. He doesn't give a rat what he said before, why should he? No one calls him on it.
someone ought to tell McCain about a crisis event called 911....or perhaps, he has not heard of Dick and Dumbya's Great Iraq Adventure?

McCain should buy some Aricept with his manhunt.com donation money

Anybody from Georgia who may be reading this, take my advice. Stay the fuck out of South Ossetia. They didn't ask to become a part of Georgia. And while you're at it, don't fuck with Russia either - my take on all of this is that your dumb ass President is being taught a lesson - along with the citizenry.
red-dwarf: Who trained, equipped, financed and encouraged the Georgians to attack a neighbor and Russian protectorate? Why, it's the same guys who lied us into an invasion. Bush will continue to damage the US and the World until he is kicked out of office and McSame is kept OUT!

hannity today on the the "Stop the Annointed One Express" radio show was talking about the libruls being "impotent, incompetent and inept" on everything.
perfect description of McCain. and he's all they've got.

And of course the dewy eyed media is covering this gaffe up as well and not letting the voters know how Clueless McSame really is.

The Aricept rule of thumb is: when you can't remember where you parked the car, you had an ordinary lapse of memory. When you can't remember what the car is for, you have Altzheimers.
McCain's campaign is an ambulatory Aricept ad. I can understand the short term memory fading but when the long term memory can't keep 9/11 in focus, it's time for Aricept.

A few weeks ago I was watching news on TV and an Aricept ad was immediately followed by a McSame campaign ad. Poor old white-haired Grampa who is forgetting which grandchild goes with which name followed by poor old white-haired Grampa who can't remember what he said or thought yesterday or earlier in the week. The really scary thing was the eyes: deep-set goth-like dark and sunken and completely dead and vacant.

Any area of the Middle East that contains oil is a territory and possession of the U.S., and therefore anything that happens there is not an International incident. It is an internal matter for the U.S.

HOPE: Your commentary is so true as to be so very sad. All about oil is what this administration is all about. Blood and our treasure for oil company riches is so very sad.

When will the average American see and understand that John McCain does not know what he is talking about. John McCain is the same as George Bush.

John McCain is NOT THE SAME as Bush. He is very similar but worse. He is now getting into the realm of senility. Bush, ignorant and arrogant, is not senile. THAT is the big difference except that McSame is also a HERO. We all know that McCain is the HERO and Obama is not like us. That's the fraudulent campaign the right is offering up for 2008. The 2008 version of the Swif Boaters, Willie Horton, and the Gore Sighs. These Republicans are a sorry lot of rich and greedy ___________s. Can they fool and divide the American voters for a THIRD TIME ?

McCain lets the truth slip out: the two current wars are not being waged for the defense of the US. They are wars of convenience. They are wars for corporations. A possible conflict with Russia would be a war of self defense.
McCain wasn't supposed to say this. But he did. He said it because he doesn't have the mental acuity to frame his thoughts in a diplomatic fashion. While in some circumstances, this may be described as frankness, McCain does it and is not aware that he's doing it. That's the problem with McCain With his statement, he betrayed his supporters without knowing it. The corporate press will look the other way.

Goog point! What scares me is that the media won't pick up on this and run with it. They have the power to shape the minds of the public, yet they refuse to do their jobs.

One more thing! It disburbs me that the Obama campaign is slow to repsond. These are themes he can pound into the early morning hours.

At least McBush finally took that silly baseball cap off to make this absurd comment.
US media has been completely one-sided in coverage of the South Ossetian situation... and it is all quite complex. Their simple & moronic coverage, matched by McBush's ridiculous statements, puts us in dangerous waters. Obama's approach here has been far more wise.

A senile presidential candidate just won't sell so you had better hide him now and often. Sad, but this is how the campaign miesters see it and why they have hidden the Manchurian Candidate. What are the odds of another Republican taking over from an " ailing " McSame? Please give the odds.

The Navy hat worn by McSame is not "silly " at all. It is his constant reminder that HE is the H E R O! That's also the image of NOT wearing the flag pin. HE doesn't need one since HE is the Navy HERO. Get the picture? Vote for the HERO. Vote for the HERO! Even a senile HERO is better than one who is not like us. That is what McBush has come up with to deceive the 2008 American voters. Too bad because real heroes don't wear their medals on public on their sleeves. He's a sham.
